I love that Michael has a family now, and I hope that Carol's fresh start will include her falling in love with him. And I totally loved reading that Pam and Jim had a baby!

Oh, man, I'm imagining the horrors of the second and third proposals. You've captured something that really does lurk inside the brief glimpses we've seen of Carol- a certain determination to do this, a world-weariness that would find Michael...good enough. Very nice.

i love both of these! i love that you can write ryan in a way that doesn't make him seem like a total jerk, and carol's quiet resignation and her underlying love for michael was great.
um, and pam and jim have a baby named lucy? perfect. the name just fits, somehow.
