Pam saw Jim looking at her picture. "She looks exactly the same."

She didn't think so. "I changed a little."

He looked at her. "Maybe the hair."

"Yeah. When it was that long, it just frizzled so much more than now. I was a nerd in high school. The braces didn't help." She glanced at Jim's picture. "You were an adorable baby."

He chuckled. "Adorable, chubby, and a bit cross-eyed."

"A face that only a mother can love."

For a brief moment, she pictured what their kids would look like. Turning red, she shook the thought out of her head.
