Jim sits back down at his desk. It occurs to him that he still has the Christmas card in his bag. The Christmas card he wrote for Pam. The Christmas card he never gave to Pam. He decides that she should have it. He IMs her: "I have a confession to make about the gift."

Her reply: "What?"

He feels Karen looking at him. He is correct. His reply: "I'll tell you later. At the end of the day? ;)"

Her reply: "Ok. I'll try not to go crazy in suspense. :P"

Another IM message pops up. "What's going on?"

He grimaces.
