Story Notes:

It was going to be longer, but I couldn’t figure out how to really make it longer. So, then I decided to try to make it a drabble. 100 words. I counted.

Okay, not that anything is really mentioned in this story, but trust me, if you think you own it, you probably do.

Again, so much thanks to McGigi for kind words and corrections and stuff.

He comes home to find her in tears. She’s sitting on the couch; still dirty and sweaty from her run that morning. Her face is streaked with tears, her nose red. She’s curled up into a ball, her body weak.

He goes to try to comfort, she only cries more. Soon, his shoulder is wet from tears. He asks what happened, but she can’t speak. All she gets out is a “Ca” before the sobs overtake her body.

Hours pass, no words are spoken. She falls asleep, exhausted. He rubs her back, hoping that in sleep, she may find comfort.

Chapter End Notes:
I’m unsure of this, so really, I know its hard to review a drabble, but any feedback would be so appreciated.
