“Welcome to Michael Scott Appreciation Day!” Dwight bellowed from where he stood on his desk.
Jim had chosen that very unfortunate moment to walk in two minutes late. He immediately leaned on Pam’s desk. “What the hell is going on?”
“The balloons and the giant banner that Michael made me make aren’t making this obvious for you?” Pam said, looking tired.
“Oh my God. He set up his own appreciation day?”
“Of course! Who else was going to do it?”
“Yikes.”
“You don’t have to tell me.”
“Pam?”
“Yeah?”
“We need new jobs.”
“What else is new?” she says, laughing.
