She was obsessed with a flower language lately. Looking through the samples, she tried to pick something affordable, and yet meaningful. Something perfectly them.
She raised her head and spotted a curious glance across the room.
‘Thuja,’ she thought instantly. ‘Thyme. Fern and ivy.’
She wished it was that easy with her fiance.

Thuja (Arborvitae) - unchanging friendship. Thyme - courage, strength. Fern - sincerity, humility (and also magic and bonds of love). Ivy - friendship, fidelity (and also marriage).
I'm not obsessed with a flower language, but I like it quite a lot.
