This is a beautiful story!  It is the only fanfic I've printed because I want to curl up in my chair and re-read it over and over.  The subtle interactions and nuances between Jim and Pam mirror how they are written in the show.  So excited that you re-posted it.  Breathtaking and brilliant.  Thank you.

Summary: Pam is Fancy and New and perhaps, in recent episodes, sometimes bordering on too Fancy and New. Her mother picks up on this right away at Thanksgiving dinner. This story includes some angst, and some of Pam not being perfect; maybe controversially so. I don't know, but Pam is still fun to write. And, I have Christmas cards to write and presents to buy so honestly, I will just enjoy reading your incredible stories this holiday season. Thanks to all of you who have read mine. I enjoyed the story from Pam's mom's POV.  I agree I have a little twinge of concern when it comes to FNB.  You approached this very well.
