Wow, you really just hate Pam don't you? lol. Seriously though, I always find your stories interesting because they offer a different perspective. I guess I'll just always believe that Pam didn't mean to attack Karen in the breakroom with her "non-apology". I think her new-found confidence just out ran her a little, but I never thought she was being purposely malicious. But I guess that's just the beauty of this show- we all see things so differently that it could never be boring. Seriously, though, good job.

Author's Response:

I certainly wouldn't say I hate her -- rather I would hate her if I were Karen.  I agree with you actually, she's genuinely quite kind and really an all around good person, just with some new confidence that she needs a bit of time to adjust to.  Plus, for the story, I needed Karen to be extra mad to try to set up the twist ending.  Thanks a lot for commenting.

Hi! I just wanted to review to tell you that I love your story. I'm actually horrible and never leave reviews, but I wanted to let you know that I definitely plan on sticking with this story until the end. As a former camper myself, I've found your descriptions of summer camp very realistic and enjoyable. Brings back memories! Anyway, I love your story and I'm anxiously waiting for the next chapter!

Author's Response:

That's really great! I'm glad that this fic is striking a chord with you.  I really wanted it to resonate with the former (and maybe current) camper in all of us.  Thank you for reading and reviewing!

Loved this chapter. The Chicken Dance Song and Stairway to Heaven references had me laughing out loud- totally my camp experience. You've captured the excitement that was the camp social really well. I know I learned more about boys and makeup at camp than anywhere else. The slow build of Jim and Pam's relationship is great. I'm really looking forward to what's coming up next!

Author's Response: Hey, EM. Glad you enjoyed it.  I am glad you appreciated my rendition of a camp social, because I'll tell you a secret- I've never actually been to one.  What I described was based on a few experiences I'd read about and heard of.  So I'm glad it resonated.  Anyway, thanks for keeping up with it.
