After "Casino Night" aired, I was too hyped up to sleep, and at three a.m. I stood in my apartment in the dark leaning against the fridge eating low-fat vanilla yogurt straight out of the value-sized container and worrying about how much I invest in fictional characters. True story.

Jim and Pam on familiar ground. Spoilers (perhaps) up to mid-Season 4.10 Oh man, I'm surprised at how much I like this! You've taken some maybe over-ficced parts of the show and made them really original and interesting, which isn't easy. Fantastic!
Watching the documentary as a favor for Ryan, Toby learned that almost everyone at Dunder Mifflin could probably sue Michael for something and win big. And he learned a few other very important lessons as well.9 Man, this was great. I love fics where they watch the documentary, and you did a fabulous job with this one. Your Toby characterization is excellent. Thanks for writing this!
You don't want to wake up one day and realize that both of you are unhappy because you weren't the person he thought you were. There's no way you can compete with Fantasy Pam.
Oh man, it's so cool my fic inspired yours! It's totally interesting to see that idea of Jim idealizing Pam, but from the perspective of season 4, when they could hopefully overcome it. Awesome!

Yes! It totally did! I like immediately got The Philadelphia Story from Netflix because I forgot how much I loved that movie, and that line about wanting to be loved struck me as being 1)brilliant and 2) begging a story to written about it. So thank you so much!
10 Oh God, this is so perfectly Toby and so perfectly heart-breaking. It feels like a gut-punch the whole way through. Him thinking that people like him less the more they get to know him, his distancing himself from Sasha, his passivity and resignation and self-loathing. Really well-done.

10 Oh my God, this was SO GOOD. i didn't think anything could rekindle those season 2 feelings in me, but this really, really did. I love all the details you've invented here, and your MARK characterization is fantastic. And my favorite favorite thing is the way you write Jim -- his perception of himself as a loser, all insecure and imperfect. It's so so likable and so much better than a lot of the Jim characterization you see out there. Just fantastically done!
