Glad that Pam got a clue about both her men and that she showed some strength here. Revisiting S2 episodes sometimes make me mad at Pam for what she put poor Jim through. I really enjoyed this. I have to admit I almost passed this up because of the title. Not a Billy Squier fan. Glad I got past the title. :) Great job here.

The thought that Michael would be spending Christmas alone never entered my mind but you're right, who would he spend it with? Too sad. You've done a great job writing Holly. Even though she was only in a handful of episodes I can imagine her having a hard time getting over Michael. They are perfect for eachother. This phone conversation made me happy for them.

This was recommended to me by someone on the MTT forum so I thought I'd give it a quick read on my lunch hour. Well, my lunch hour turned into 1 1/2 hours because I could not stop reading. I was so late getting back to work, but it was totally worth it. While reading I was so angry with Pam and my heart just ached for Jim. Then I had to remind myself that these are fictional characters and Pam never married Roy and Jam is happy on the show. The ending surprised me. This was so very good. Thanks for posting it.
Author's Response: It was almost hard to have Pam hold out for that long, I didn\'t know if it seemed realistic. But I guess if the real Pam stayed with him for ten years she could have easily married him and taken a long time to get out of it, really. And, yeah, I agree -- very happy with the way things are on the show! Thanks for the review. =)

I like David Wallace and am glad he and Jim have a great relationship, unlike what's going on with the show right now with Charles. Author's Response: thanks for writing! first of all - i don\'t think pam slept with jim out of revenge. maybe the thought occurred to her, but i think she was more overall charged from spending time with him at night, drunk, while thoughts of what happened earlier danced in her head. i don\'t think s2 pam would go back to jim, i think you are right. but i\'m not sure! yeah, poor jim. he does take a lot of abuse in this story.... thanks again for the feedback!!

This was so good. I am so angry at Pam for lying to Jim about what happened that made her wind up at his front door. You made me believe she slept with Jim only as revenge against what Roy did. I can see her going home and admitting as much to Roy. I'm not as hopeful as Jim that Pam will come back to him. Not season 2 Pam anyway.
Loved this: “What was your longest relationship?” You, he thought, but this wasn’t a relationship. Not the kind she meant and not the kind he wanted. This really tugged at my heart for poor Jim.
