Well, I don't know why you'd hate this... I loved it. I liked that the fight was mostly about miscommunication and was actually kinda passive-aggressive. It seems that that would be their style. Loved all of Jim's reasons for loving Pam, too.
Oh, and count me as the third person who loves Great Gatsby.

This was lovely! Your dialogue is so well-written, and I love how you fleshed out not only Toby, but also a little bit of Meredith. Oh, and Creed - Ha! My favorite thing is how you have Toby beating himself down, always interpreting everything in the worst possible light. It's so sad, but so real. I got here from the TWOP message boards, and I gotta say, I hope this isn't your last story!

Wow. You are good! I love how realistically you have Pam evolve into a city girl/artist without undermining her personality. Like in Chapter 1 when she gets asked for directions because she looks like a New Yorker but then does a dorky dance in her apartment - such a nice touch.
