i love the submarines too! and i feel a certain kinship with pam since i switched from pre-med to english literature. yay humanities! anyways, can't wait to read more of this story!

Author's Response: May I just say I love your screen name, by the way? Seriously, awesome. I switched over to an English major from Journalism. :) English rocks! I feel like I should also apologize for any grammatical or spelling errors in this story. Sadly, as an English major, grammar and spelling is not a strong suit. And I feel so ashamed admitting that. Haha. Thanks for the review! :D

I love it! The end of this chapter with the Facebook relationship confirmation totally reminded me of how wonderful it felt when my boyfriend sent me that request :) Oh Nightswept, this has officially become one of my favorite stories on MTT. I like how you blend Jim and Pam with AU Jim and Pam...they both seem so realistic and so much like people I knew in college and their interactions remind me a lot of me and my boyfriend. And that was a really long run-on sentence that an English major like me should not indulge in. Anyways, my whole point is, I love your story, and can't wait for the chapters to come!

Author's Response: English majors, yes!! Although, I shouldn\'t shout out my major too loudly because my grammar skills sure need some improvement. Heck, I know it. I\'m not afraid to admit it. Please don\'t hate me for my run-ons and apostrophe mistakes! I\'m glad you\'re still enjoying the story. There is a lot more cuteness coming up in this next chapter that I\'m putting together. Just let me know if I ever go too overboard with the cuteness. Our secret signal can be you commenting, \"Ugh! Gag me!\" Haha.

I just got my wisdom teeth pulled today, and having the new chapters to read have put me in a better mood already as I sit here with gauze in my mouth...haha. Seriously though, I really like the character developments, and no, I don't think it's getting too cute or sweet. Definitely a good balance here! I too have yet to figure out where I stand on the whole soul mate situation. Something to contemplate and talk to the boyfriend about :) Keep up the good work NightSwept, I can't wait to read more! Not that I am a fan of angst between our beloved JAM, but will Jim and Roy ever run into each other?

Author's Response: I will say that the thought of Jim and Roy running into each other has crossed my mind, yes. Hmm... But that is all I will say. ;)\r\n\r\nMajor ouchie on the wisdom teeth. I hope you\'re feeling okay today. :)

I love Neruda's poetry, and I love the regular updates to this story! I felt a little bit like Kelly in this chapter because I wanted more details on sex with Jim! For first time smut, this was really good, so keep it up. (That's what she said!)

Your characterization of Roy is very interesting to me. I never really thought about it before, and I'm surprised the writers on the Office haven't entertained this idea either, but he does totally seem like the type of guy who would want to get married just for the sake of being married. Any chance of an awkward run-in between Roy and the new S.O. and JAM?

Also, thanks for your response to my last review :D They say that the 2nd day after your wisdom teeth are taken out is when swelling is at its peak. So yesterday, I looked like a chubby chipmunk, and today I just look like a chipmunk. I am feeling a lot better, and it helps to have good stories to read such as yours.

Author's Response: I love Neruda, too, and I spent forever and a day trying to find the perfect poem that would speak from Jim\'s heart and express all that he wanted to say. I kept thinking, \"Hmm... Neruda, too cliche? Has it been used too much?\" But that poem is amazing, so I hope it worked out well. :) I agree that Roy totally just wants to settle down, and find somebody to do his laundry and have dinner on the table when he gets home, which is why Pam is just so much better off without him. Jim allows her to be her own person, which is really something special. I\'m still entertaining the idea of an awkward run-in with Roy. I\'m also trying to figure out if I want to bring Pam\'s parents along for the ride, so we\'ll see. ;) I\'m glad to hear you are feeling better!

Happy New Year, Nightswept!
At first, I thought that the "Timebomb" you were referring to was the one by Rancid of the mid-90s, but the Old 97s are so much better, and so much more Jim :) I am loving this story (I know, old news) and am also loving the music playlists you have posted.

It will be interesting to see how Pam and Jim work out the long distance relationship, and to see how Pam's last year at school goes. Sometimes I think it's a little uncanny how many parallels your story draws with my life!

Author's Response: Thank you! I hope your new year is off to a great start. :)

I heart the Old 97\'s, and I\'m glad you thought it closely identified with Jim. I\'m also so happy to hear from you again! It\'s been awhile. ;) It\'s too funny how well you\'re able to relate to this story. I promise I\'m not pulling thoughts out of your head or anything. Ha-ha. I\'m glad you\'re still enjoying it. Thanks for the review. :)
