I loved this chapter; I love this whole story. I have a soft spot for Jim and babies, and I love how the three became a sort of family before anything really happened between Pam and Jim. I'm so excited that things are finally happening now!

Wow. I finally got around to registering so that I could leave reviews, but just know that this "wow" goes for every one of the previous chapters. You're an awesome writer, and this is an awesome story. As much as I miss your Pam and Jim "hating" each other, you write them being in love with each other so well that I can't possibly be upset. I just wish there weren't just one chapter left!

OK wow. I just read this chapter for the third time, and I loved it all three times. When I saw that you had posted the last chapter, I was excited, sad, and also a little scared. I was afraid that your Pam and Jim, in discovering that they loved each other, were going to lose what made them yours, and what made me love this story in the first place. So I was ecstatic to see the bickering that was going on during the loving. You ended this perfectly, in my opinion.

I loved this part especially: "“Wow, ok,” he answers, sitting up so he can pull his jeans off and it’s like summer in the best kind of way, it’s like baseball and sunscreen and vacation and swimming and she remembers all of the times as a little girl when she wondered who she would be when she grew up. She thinks about how she used to dream about her soul mate and how she never thought it would be someone like Jim, but god she’s glad it is." It makes me so happy, and I can relate to so much of it so well (though unfortunately not the Jim taking off his pants part). It's just simple, and happy, and that's a great thing to be in the last chapter of a story.

I also liked how you repeated several of the lines that you began the story with. They have a whole different tone here, and it works perfectly.

Thanks a lot for entertaining me over the past few weeks! I can't wait to read what else you come up with.

I love it! I love your almost stream-of-consciousness style of writing; it makes the whole thing feel very true. It's this realness that makes this one of the best first date stories I've read. Keep writing!

Author's Response: wow- thanks for such a great review, hellogoodbye (any relation to the band hellogoodbye? because they\'re fabulous). i\'m glad you liked the style; i know it\'s pretty freeform, but people seemed to take to it pretty well. thanks for reading and reviewing!

Summary:

You had forgotten that this parking lot was haunted.

A bit of Jim's introspection after Toby's party. Spoilers for the finale, obviously.

Wow, this is amazing. I was going to point out the "Fireworks...ago" paragraph but it seems that everybody else thought that it was just as beautiful as I did. I love the imagery in that paragraph and throughout; every sentence feels very full but there's never too much. I think I will read this one again and again.

Author's Response: Thank you so much! It's always good to hear that something I wrote was worth a repeat read.

OK so I remember first reading about PostSecret a couple of years ago in the New York Times or something, so I went to the website, and that postcard was there (the disease one). And I thought it was the most powerful thing I had ever seen, and I still do, and I think about it whenever I see or somebody mentions PostSecret. It has always been my favorite one for some reason, and I can't thank you enough for putting up a link to it because I hadn't seen it for several years despite thinking of it often. I can't believe you chose that secret to move Jim too.

So that probably was a lot of unnecessary personal story-telling, but I just wanted share my excitement! Besides that, I like the story so far, and I can't wait to see where you take it!

Author's Response:

Wow. I read this last night, and it honestly moved me so much I couldn't respond just then. I can't believe the coincidence. I was looking for a secret to try to explain why Jim was so connected with the site, and I looked through all the secrets I have saved, then I started flipping through the book. And that one just jumped out as it. I wasn't sure why, but it seemed right. I can't believe that it was the same one that you felt connected with, and its so exciting to learn that that meant a lot to you!

I should have another chapter posted soon, so I hope you'll check it out!
