I recently caught up on this story and I have to say that I absolutely love it! I am usually not much of an AU fan, but this story really grabbed me. You've portrayed the characters very realistically and the story has just the right mix of humor and emotion. Great work! As for this chapter, the Michael/90210 line had me laughing out loud :)

Great chapter! I love that we got to hear things from Jim's POV. I love that Jon was purposely leaving him and Pam alone the night before he left.

Looking forward to the 'dinner.' Pam totally knows that he is pretending to know how to cook just for her - classic. I am also looking forward to seeing Jon's reaction to everything.

Great chapter! I just got caught up with this story and absolutely love it. I've been getting really tired of reading stories where Pam and Jim just fall into each others' arms and live happily ever after. It's not that I don't want them to eventually be happy, but it is just not realistic for it to happen so quickly. So basically, what I'm trying to say is that I really like what you did with this chapter. It was well-written, heartbreaking and sweet all at the same time. I hope you update soon :-)

I like it! I can see how the "JAM 4EVA" folks might not, but I can really appreciate what you're doing here.

I'm not sure that this is the route the show will actually go (even with Jenna's encouragement), but I could definitely see this happening if Pam and Jim were real people. Unless they improve upon their communication skills, I have no doubt that the relationship would tank in real life. I guess this is what fanfic is for. And yes, I do want to see them together (on the show, at least). :)

I have to say, I love JAM as much as the next person (I swear!), but I find the potential stories so much more interesting than just trying to keep them together to make everyone happy. Yes, their communication is terrible, they have a lot of dark history that I don\'t believe they\'ve truly dealt with, and they are going through different things at different times (bad timing). So I think it\'s quite believable that they might not make it (if they were real). But I agree that I doubt the show will take that route. I think the fans would burn NBC to the ground. Anyway, glad it works for you. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!

Love this story! I've been horrible about reviewing, but I have been following it the whole way through. The cliffhangers in these last two chapters have been killing me, but they are absolutely great at the same time. I have a feeling that Pam isn't going to say what me might all think she is though. Yay! I was able to finish both of your stories. I want to apologize for not reviewing along the way, but here I am!

These were very fun to read, first because they're well-written and second because I'm originally from the Chicago suburbs. I'm not always a fan of AU, but this was great!

The music was an added bonus and nice because we have very similar tastes in music.

I also have to comment that I caught a number of O.C. references hidden here and there. I'm guessing you're a fan. :)

Thanks again and I can't wait to read the next one if there is one.
