1 So, I haven't logged in to review in forever but I've still been reading and I stopped to login because I felt like I needed to respond to this one. I adore this story. One because we've gone through this as a family, and two because reading grief on this website is few and far between other than just angsty from season 2/3. I like seeing Jim and Pam work together through grief, it's what I tend to write myself, and you did this spectacularly. I'm also so sorry for anything you went through and I hope you're in a much better place now. Sending love across the globe.
1 Welp. Vulnerable Jim in many senses of the word. I loved the raw emotion, and then the passionate sex. You hit some fantasies here that were written perfectly. I loved seeing Pam so in charge, ugh this was hot.

1 First off, welcome! And second, I have to say, I really enjoyed this fic. I’ve suffered with anxiety and panic attacks my whole life and they often happen at work. I wish I had a Jim to calm me down when it did, and this really just brought some inner peace to me personally. The way you described how to regulate breathing was so familiar and I could just feel it. Thank you so much for this!

I suffer from panic attacks and anxiety too, which was one of the reasons I wrote this (I use fanfic as a coping mechanism). I too wish I had a person like Jim to calm me down, but most of the people in my life are a bit more like how I described Roy (Whoops).

Jim’s been visiting reception five (or 10, or 15…) times a day for years. It turns out it’s become a reflex, and one it will take some work to get rid of now that Pam sits next to him. She’s got a plan, though. (Also: the story of how Jim lost his virginity.)1 Ohhh I ADORED this. Super cute fluff, I love when he took her fingers in his.
