Hi1 *waves* still with you! Wow, first, the image of Jim's ring fitting around his son's wrist? That gave me chills. I love the how insistent Pam was about seeing her son, that would be me, no doubt. I adore your Cece so so much. There's something about these chapters that feels so personal, like I know Jim on this whole other level. I love it. Love it love it and can't wait for more. So, in short, I'm so still with you!

The tension is very much there, I could see it all happening. I liked this a lot and look forward to the next chapter! Will they be able to mend fences on this particular night? Or is the pain too much for them to move past it. I hope we get to find out soon!

Still so loving this. I never get tired of reading what if stories about the first three seasons, and you're definitely delivering. Can't wait to read the next chapter!

Oh, I love this! I love what if scenarios, and this one is about one of the few that are actually believable to me. The hesitation, the talking but not really talking, I like so much about this, but what I really LOVED was that it felt real, like it could be a real possibility - no jumping in anyone's bed, no breaking up with Roy in an hour, no screaming matches, just easy gentle honest conversation, and she's going to think about things. I'd love it if you continued, but I love the open endedness of this. Don't stay away too long!

Author's Response: Believable is nice, thank you! That's exactly what I was going for-- what would happen if she did ask something deep and personal, would it have sped things up a bit? I think so. I'm going to leave it as is. We all know what happens once they decide to be together. :) Glad you enjoyed, and thank you for letting me know. :)

Congrats on your first story and welcome to MTT! Casino Night is always an inspiration to build on, and I noticed that you've left this as incomplete, so I'm looking forward to seeing where you take them from what we know to something else. :)

You have nailed Dwight's voice in this and I really like the pranking ideas. I'm a little confused at the end though... (and please don't take this in any other way other than constructive) you rush too closely between Pam being in pain with a tear and her giggling. It may take a bit longer for pain to pass. I'm really enjoying this overall though and hope you'll post more soon.

Author's Response: I wrote the giggle in later, actually because I wanted to steer away from it being a melodramatic ending. Firstly, Pam's in a little bit of pain but it's too bad. Also, it's one of those times when you have a sort of odd natural reaction to pain or shock, so you laugh instead of cry. And, like I say within the text, it's sort of a sudden rush of pain so Dwight sort of distracts her from it there. I'm glad you're enjoying it though - I am looking forward to getting a couple more steps ahead with it because I think it will become a whole lot more interesting soon. And, you have no idea how hard I try to nail each characters' voice - it's so hard without the actor actually saying the lines, so thanks for that. :) xx

Taking a quick break from a busy work day and I was so excited to see this updated! I can't wait to see what happens next! I love how Jo talks to Cindy, and I'm nervous for Pam and this sales program Jim's gotten her into.... Gotta run and get back to work, but just know that I really can't wait for more!

After a morning that began with me falling in the middle of the rain covered city street (eww) and then spilling coffee on myself all in the same hour, I have to say thank you to you for bringing a smile to my face with this. I love confident Pam and jealous Pam, and when those two get together, they're just perfect. I think you nailed it on the head too about Karen and how she was really insecure and that's why she clung to Jim even though he admitted to still having feelings for Pam. Good stuff! Can't wait to read more stories from you, and thanks again for this. Total bright spot to this morning. =)
