I absolutely ADORE everything about this story. I'm so eager for more, it is kind of ridiculous! Every day I check the "most recent" stories to see if it has been updated!

My favorite part is this:

Pam knocks timidly and waits. There isn't an answer. She shifts the things she's carrying and it makes it no less uncomfortable. She raps again, just as softly. Pam’s good at pretending like the second time is better, like she spoke a little louder or stood up a little straighter one day. And she likes to think she knocks harder, but she really doesn’t. Pam thinks it’s stupid, but she’s almost afraid he’ll answer.

So perfectly Pam at this point. She wants to be so much bolder than she is, but just can't manage it. (But facing that fear and carrying on anyway DOES make her brave, even though she might not know it!)

Awaiting the next chapter with bated breath!

Oh! Fantastic! I've been hooked on this story since you first posted it, but I'm a terrible reviewer. (Forgive me!)

I've been wondering how you were going to keep Pam from communicating this important news to Jim for a while now, and I have to say, that was amazing! The missed phone message is spot-on perfection! It leaves them with yet another miscommunication, rather than Pam deliberately not telling Jim (which, ouch, that's dang hard to come back from) or something.

I am basically on the edge of my seat, eagerly waiting for the next chapter. You're a wonderful writer and I can't wait for more!

I'm so glad you mention Pam's decision because I knew that the last line would get the most attention, so I'm glad you mentioned this. To be honest, Jim's morning's were easy to write, trying to come up with why Pam would not take a chance? Very difficult and I struggled coming up with a plausible solution to why wouldn't call back. I'm so glad you liked it and so glad you're on board for more!! Thanks so much for the compliment!
