Date: June 25, 2020 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1
Interested to see where this goes. I think that's a fair change; I do worry for her though!
Author's Response: Hi Confect! Thanks for reviewing!
These are dark time for Pam but I'm a sucker for happy endings. That's all I'll say.
Date: June 26, 2020 Title: Chapter 2: Chapter 2
Well, well, well. So not putting the note in (which is what I got from chapter 1, correct me if I'm wrong) means similar emotion boiling over later. Very interesting approach. Definitely digging it!
Author's Response: Thanks very much, Comfect.
Yeah, she didn't put the note so... that might lead to other possibilities.
Date: August 13, 2020 Title: Chapter 3: Chapter 3
I loved this chapter! The sensory details (visuals, smells) are amazing. Just catching up after a while away from the archive and this chapter made me smile!
Author's Response: Hi Comfect! Thanks so much for reviewing! I'm glad you liked those details, I'm not very confident about how much is too much
Date: August 13, 2020 Title: Chapter 4: Chapter 4
Oh my. Not what I was expecting but it is perfectly in character. Interested to see what Jim does about it, and Go Pam for doing that much!
Author's Response: Well... I didn't want them to just figure it all out right there and then. Where is the angst? Kidding.
Date: August 13, 2020 Title: Chapter 5: Chapter 5
Oh that's lovely. Great ending. Both that she took some her-time and that he's still just as willing to drop everything for her. So glad you wrote this!
Author's Response: Thanks a lot! I love it when Pam is herself without depending on Jim.
“What was the point of secrets anymore, for three years he had kept this inside hoping it would fade but could only feel it getting stronger. Pam would reject him, Jim knew that, but at least he could say he was honest.” An alternate take on Casino Night.

Date: June 25, 2020 Title: Chapter 1: Will we burn in heaven like we do down here
I mean, I like all your stories and this is really good but yeah you really meant that warning up top didn't you. Good angst though. And good smut, but especially the angst.
Author's Response: I take my warnings very seriously XD But the next chapter will be less angsty. Thanks for your comment!
Date: August 13, 2020 Title: Chapter 2: Will a change come while we're waiting
So I don't usually love smutty stories (I know, I'm the only fanfic reader who doesn't) but I liked this one because you did a great job with the story. Thanks for sharing (and hey, you finished a fic!)
Date: May 21, 2021 Title: Chapter 1: Will we burn in heaven like we do down here
Aw man. Very well done Jim-impatience. That's spot on for S2 Jim; just a little too much for his own good once the dam breaks.
Date: May 21, 2021 Title: Chapter 2: Will a change come while we're waiting
Oh this was delightful! I think you did a great job with both Danny and Karen as bit players here. And of course the main combo was amazing as well as usual.

Date: August 16, 2020 Title: Chapter 1: Room 620
I don't know the source material, but I'm liking the concept. Good AU setup, interested to know where we go from here!
Date: August 16, 2020 Title: Chapter 2: Room 222
Ouch. As you say, hurting people is a part of how they get where they get, but still. Hurting like this though does feel worse. Poor Jim especially.
Date: August 16, 2020 Title: Chapter 3: Room 1011
Ouch, I hope he doesn't keep on stringing Karen along given that he already doesn't have time for a real relationship... And I'm sad for Pam more than I am disappointed. Hopefully they can become a little less broken as time goes on...
Date: August 16, 2020 Title: Chapter 4: Room 511
Yeah, Roy's afraid of being stuck with her whereas Jim's afraid of being without her. Glad we got the truth out. Now... how many hotels until it's a honeymoon?
Date: August 16, 2020 Title: Chapter 5: Room 214
Well, that is a slightly different take on that conversation, but to a similar emotional place; though it's a nice use of irony that this makes him go to her instead of running away to Stamford.
Date: August 16, 2020 Title: Chapter 6: Room 301
Yeah, it's a red flag when his good behavior only lasts until he's forgiven, and then he goes right back to it.
Of course, it's a red flag when you are cheating on him too.
Oh Pam.
Author's Response: Wow! How cool are you to have binged my whole story like that, not to mention leaving me such lovely reviews. Thanks so much. I just posted ch. 7. Hope I have the pleasure of hearing from you again soon.
Date: August 16, 2020 Title: Chapter 7: Room 303
I liked this. Good that Pam isn't just straight jumping ship but also that she acknowledges her attraction. I don't think they should get caught, but I also don't think Roy should get anything good from this encounter, even a sense of justification.
Author's Response: So glad you liked this chapter! Yeah, no one is innocent in this scenario, but I will try to make everyone get what they deserve :) Chapter 8 is up now. Hope you check it out.
Date: August 30, 2020 Title: Chapter 8: Room 303 (Revisited)
Yeah, Roy's getting fired. Can't jump a guy on company property like that. Typical Roy though: there's actually no proof Jim wasn't, say, staying next door and offered Pam his overcoat in the cold, or simply walked her back since they were in the same hotel. Or hell, has the same Target brand overcoat as some other dude. No talking, just ranting and then punching. Not that he's wrong, just that he has no subtlety.
I hope Pam has done some thinking because her options are sure closing down.
Good chapter.
Author's Response: Thanks so much! I tried to keep Roy in character, similar to how he behaved on the show. Too bad Dwight wasn't there to stop him. I guess Roy was right to follow his instincts in this case. Please check out ch. 9, up now.
Date: September 07, 2020 Title: Chapter 9: Room 416
I mean, JIM YOU SHOULD NOT BE UP AND ABOUT WHAT IS BETSY THINKING but yes that is very cute. I am kinda glad Roy did the dirty work for Pam--now she needs to think hard about what she actually wants and not what she's supposed to want.
Author's Response: Thanks for taking the time to review. So glad you are enjoying this fic. I've posted the conclusion--hope you get a chance to check it out.
Date: September 24, 2020 Title: Chapter 10: Room 7
Aww. I love that you kept this in Niagara. It's very appropriate as an ending. Thanks for sharing this story!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! Yes, it had to be Niagara :)

Aww. I mean, in a literal sense creepy but aww. Good storytelling.
Author's Response: Thank you! And sorry for creepiness, I know that some of the things that I find fascinating might be considered... disturbing :(

Date: August 15, 2020 Title: Chapter 1: Prologue: from here, to where?
This is an interesting setup and I'm looking forward to moving into the story. It's reasonably in canon and does a good job of presenting emotional stakes.
Date: August 15, 2020 Title: Chapter 2: Chapter 1: hope, hope, hope
Aww, too bad for Pam that Jim is unwilling to face that if he can't go to the art show he can't move on. But very good work on your part working through the emotional beats.
Date: August 15, 2020 Title: Chapter 3: Chapter 2: we are moving back and forth
Interesting choice to change Oscar and Gil's interactions with Pam at the show to positive. I'm generally leery of OCs but given you said you considered Danny I definitely think a non-salesman is an improvement.
Date: August 15, 2020 Title: Chapter 4: Chapter 3: status quo and chinks
So...no points to Paul if Jim was able to get there first. But mainly of course never any points to Roy. This is doing a good job of staying on story without being duplicative of what is canon, if you know what I mean.
Date: August 15, 2020 Title: Chapter 5: Chapter 4: being fancy sucks
I mean, it's a good level of angst for s3 and just like the show it's all self-inflicted. Good job drawing it out of them!
