This is so sweet! I love the image of them snuggling in front of the fire together - this is a winter vacation that I would have loved to see...

Author's Response: Thank you! This winter holidays gap in season 4 just begged to be filled with some fluff :)

This was really sweet! I liked the last line on her loving the universe a bit more that day, you really did get that sense from Pam after her conversation with Karen.

And congrats on becoming an aunt, that’s exciting!

Author's Response:

Thank you! I guess when you expect thunder but instead get a clear sky, the sun shines brighter :)
And thank you again!! I can't wait for the moment when I could visit them all!

I love the stone/avalanche imagery here, and the sense of Dwight’s grief and Jim’s feelings for Pam being so heavy and suffocating. Great job!

Author's Response: Thank you, I enjoy so much that you enjoyed this story :)

Haha, I loved this! Also loving the confident Pam, and it's a really fun way to bring in the fire walk. I mean, it's true: she did walk over hot coals when none of the men could.

Author's Response: Thank you! I think at that point in their relationships she felt so confident and trusted Jim so much, that she wasn't afraid to speak her mind...

I'm out of jellybeans :( But I really enjoyed this! I love the idea the the FTC came into being in season 3, which would make total sense as something that Pam started with other people in the office, outside Jim. The last line here is great - I really like the assertive!Pam. And it makes it even sweeter that she eventually invites him to join to cheer him up.

Author's Response:

Oh, I'm glad you liked this one! FTC established in season 3 is 100% my headcanon, and I think it was one of the things Fancy New Beesly made to highlight her new self (I'm sure that Roy wouldn't have appreciated it if she'd done something like that while they'd been engaged). And I agree that it was a sweet touch, that Pam invited Jim later...
Thank you for your lovely review!

Happy (belated) Valentine's Day! This was so great: I love the idea of them getting distracted from baking, and cinnamon reminding him of that...some really nice imagery here!

Author's Response: Thank you! Apparently, I have some sort of a kitchen kink I never knew about before, and I'm not ashamed to tell about it :-D

This is a really great characterisation of Pam's relationship with Roy, especially the many small things dripping away rather than any big thing.

Author's Response: Thank you! Perhaps, it was for the best this way, more peaceful... though it was much harder to explain where love had gone...

Gah I loved this! The idea of Pam wishing they'd met in high school, and Pam's fate being sealed, is so bittersweet. It's a really nice touch to what is already one of my favourite scenes.

Author's Response: Aww, thanks! I both like it and not so much (I just don't want them to break up like so many other school sweethearts!), and I'm glad that you enjoyed this piece :)

Ahh I'm so sad this is coming to an end (but excited about the bonus stories) - and what a lovely chapter to end on! Old Jim and Pam sitting a roof together is just perfect. I've loved reading all of these! :)

Author's Response: Thank you so much for sticking up with this story! Hope you'll enjoy the bonuses too :)

I loved this look into a newly independent Pam - you capture her fear really well, and the small win at the end is a really nice moment.

Author's Response: Thank you! Independence has its price, but of course, it's worth it :)

This is so heart-breaking! But so good.

Author's Response: Sorry for heartbreak, but thank you!

Aw, this was very sweet - I really like the use of ticking clock, and Pam with her brave smile and heavy heart :)

Author's Response: Thank you! I like to think that there's something brave about long-distance relationships, and, of course, Pam and Jim were strong enough to endure that.

I am terrible at reviewing (for which I apologise), but just to say that I love, love all of these! I am in awe of your ability to say so much and conjure up such powerful images with so few words. I particularly love this one! I definitely feel like it's plausible. And just the right mix of angst/longing/lust/friendship that is very season 1-2 Jim.

Author's Response: Oh, thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad that you enjoy my vignettes :)

Oof, poor Pam. This captures the art show so well, it's so heart-breaking. And the 'little by little' really made me think of the way she gets more and more dejected as the night goes on and no one shows. Great job!

Author's Response: Thank you! That episode was painful to watch, but I'm glad that in the end, Pam got some recognition and a feeling of worthiness (plus the whole 'courage and honesty' thing, but that's a different tale).

This was so sweet. I really love the 'they didn't conspire' line (especially with how often Jim and Pam do actually conspire), and both of them independently just wanting to hold onto something that innocent.

Author's Response: Thank you! I guess, at that point, both of them weren't ready to confess to each other how much time spent together meant to them... so, no conspiracy happened :)

Yes! I love that you've captured that deleted scene (which I really wish they've left in) about graphic design just not being the right art for Pam. You've written the image of the sunset here so beautifully, especially compared with 'the pixels of her unfinished assignment.'

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm glad you like this part!

This made me so happy :) I love the idea of Pam's dream being realised through Cece, it's a really nice touch.

Author's Response: Awww, thank you!

I loved this so much! Especially the last line, and 'his hands and kisses made a good try'.

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm sure that something like that might have happened behind the closed doors ;)

Summary: AU It’s summertime and Pam is the head counselor at camp Dunder Mifflin Scampton. When the cute new hire Jim Halpert causes more trouble than she bargained for, Pam takes him under her wing and the spark between them becomes harder to ignore. As their relationship shifts to something that could almost be mistaken for serious, Pam has to keep reminding herself that it’s nothing more than a summer romance.

So I’ve just devoured all 8 chapters of this - I love it! The set-up is so much fun (I’m loving over-zealous counsellor Dwight), and I really enjoyed Pam’s first impression of Jim as a cocky out of towner (that she’s also a bit attracted to), into slowly falling for how kind and thoughtful he is…the way you’ve written them is just lovely. And the steam, and her thinking about his hips in this chapter 😍 I’m intrigued by their backstories, I really like the slow reveal of what Pam has been through with Roy, and Jim’s history with Karen, and them finding comfort in each other. And: Penny and Isabel! I feel like you see so little of Pam’s female friends on the show, their inclusion here works brilliantly (their text chats are also hilarious).

This is such a great fic - I’m hooked! Can’t wait for more.

Yay, an update! This was such a fantastic chapter - Jim just being there for her was so lovely, and he’s so protective and gentle with her here, it’s gorgeous to read 😍 I just love your version of Jim in this so much. I’m so glad that Pam was actually honest with him (even if it took a bit of concussion to get her there) - and then she remembered!! The ‘ask me’ was so so perfect. Ugh and all their dates, him picking her up when she breaks his ugly vase, reading Anne of Green Gables to her, the fourth of July weekend together, the steam and the ‘you’re perfect as you are’…I mean, this was all just such a delight. Pen-a-len-a-ding-dong and Dwight army crawling through the mud for Pam’s keys made me LOL. And is brilliantly Michael and Dwight. Greatly looking forward to the casino night!!

Summary: "Well I've been on fire, dreaming of you
Tell me you don't,
It feels like you do.
Opening up can open some wounds."

An alternate take on Casino Night.

This was incredible! I love this song, and it's so perfect for Jam - you made such good use of it. I really like the idea of them leaving Casino Night early and just hanging out - I LOVED the dress zipper scene, and the ending to this with the rain and Pam saying 'Stay' was just perfection.

Summary:

I kept writing and dreaming till my words ran out

And I stared at this blank page

'Til finally I wrote

Five letters Jim has written to Pam throughout his time at Dunder Mifflin.

This was all so great! I'm really glad that you had the last two chapters after the angst because I was slightly destroyed after chapter 3 (and the one with them in Puerto RIco was just perfect). I also love that you've gone for a more subtle note for the THE letter, which stops short of saying he's in love with her but basically does say that by listing all the small things he's noticed about her - it's so lovely. And I loved the last line of this about him hoping he'll be enough for her. Amazing!

This was so cute, and so heart-breaking! I really like the nice little touches of Jim wanting to be an astronaut and then in the NBA (especially given where he ends up), and Michael ruffling his hair and Meredith being Meredith lol. And the letter is perfection! And Jim getting his hopes up only to end with ‘the letter was thrown out once he got home’ - is just devastating. I loved this!

Summary: This is my take of what happened between end of Season 3 and beginning of Season 4. Sometimes something so simple as "Yes" may not vanish the year of longing and pain.

I've just been catching up on this - I love a good fic about what happens after Pam says yes, and this one is so sweet! Although I also like the small notes of angst throughout (like Pam remembering her hair in this chapter, ouch), which I think feels very true to the fact that they haven't magically resolved everything at this point and still have stuff to talk about. I really like all the attention to detail with Pam's outfit in this one, her knowing that Jim fell in love with her in her boring work clothes, and the fact that she's wearing the shoes she got with the money from her wedding shoes - it's great. And I love their Snoopy exchange at the end, and where his thoughts jumped to with what Pam was saying, hehe. Can't wait to see what their date is like!

Author's Response: Thank you for the review. You are one of my favorite write here so hearing from you is like a fan moment. I feel so happy that you like the slight angst among the sweet moments. I have added the link to Pam's dress and I hope you get time to check that out.  It makes me so warm that you picked on little details of her shoes and snoopy sheets, I am not very good with suggestive dialogues or thoughts so it's good to know that you liked my version there. I hope you like the date, once I finally get around it.

This is really sweet! I'm not sure I can ever read enough about Jim finally coming back properly and them getting together, and there are some really nice touches in this - Pam reading all the subtle changes in the back of Jim's neck, Michael's confusion over a veterinarian (lol), and just Pam's whole excitement in this chapter. Looking forward to reading more!

Author's Response:

Thank you. You are really generous with your words.

I am extremely touched that you took out time to read and review my work, especially since you noticed little things I did with my characters and their thoughts.

And coming from a gifted writer like you, can’t ask for more :)
