Ok, I'm all caught up! Yesterday as I drove past the RAF station I live by I thought of this fic, I had a few chapters to go then and as I drove was thinking of the upcoming big Operation. Interested to see how their plan to try take down Danny goes, seems like it will be kinda complex and risky but hopefully all worth it. So glad that Jim and Pam got to have a reunion though I imagine being apart again is tough after so little time together. I love their ever-growing list of things to do when Jim comes home, it is so sweet. Looking forward to reading what comes next!

MrsK recommended I get on this and I am so glad I did!! WW2 is my fav time period historically (always has been, my original writing projects were based on it way back in the day) so I am honestly loving this vibe. Just wanted to leave a review while I'm at this point as I think it's such an interesting stage where it's a new relationship and they're instantly apart, but seems maybe Pam's about to get closer? Interested to see how her relationship with her mom develops as well but seems like her Dad is a big source of support for her. Look forward to continue reading!

I am loving this take! Can see where they are coming from. Pam giving roundabout answers to Jim's questions after being annoyed at his roundabout answers to her questions feels very typical of their miscommunicating and unresolved feelings. Can't say Jim doesn't deserve this, something was coming his way and Karen/Pam having the first word is an interesting twist to be following.

I binge read this last night then saw this pop up today before I'd logged in to write my review and wow what a rollercoaster of emotions I just went on! Last night I was on a high thinking okay a bit of uncertainty there but nothing they can't talk through... then 24h later I'm reading Pam left! Totally understand why though it's intense and when faced with that information alone and nobody to talk it through with she did what she felt would overall be the easiest solution with lower drawn-out pain, end on a high. I love that Lewis went all the way to Jim's! True mama's boys and proof they don't take after their father in this story. Hopefully they can work out something between them, though with them both established in their lives at this stage it won't be easy. Loving this story though!

Ah poor Toby suffering once again... but hey no pain (for Toby) no gain (for Jim/Pam). Love a bit of bike Jim here leading them to a cute spot for their picnic and the oh so unfortunate soda can splashing. Such a shame he had to take his top off. Of course Pam ends up having a canoe accident and mouth to mouth from Jim when he was about to kiss her moments before! I like the power ranger fact from the EMTs as well. Cute ending with her staying some extra time in Jim's care, though I am willing to be 'no funny business' eventually turns into 'some funny business'. Super cute ending as well with the not a bad day moment love that!

Loved this chapter! So lovely that Pam has gotten more comfortable with being pregnant and is settling well into her new life. It totally makes sense that she'd be so upset about it being a girl even though she'd always wanted a girl. It's definitely going to be interesting seeing how it all goes when Jim and the Stamford crew come to Scranton and how it affects Pam's journey. I love that she has her sister and Isabel to support her through it all though. Can't wait for more!

I am super loving this story! In particular the description of her internal struggles is very interesting, and her progression coming in little tiny waves feels natural - as someone who has a fair amount of experience in this area Pam's inner turmoil flows quite naturally, which is great.
