In four decades on the planet, I have never written any fanfic (just an avid reader back in the day of Buffy/Angel and Twilight fanfic) and I am obsessed with this little Pennsylvania world.

1 There is just nothing to dislike about this whole AU. Everything about how they interact and the way you continue to weave in moments from canon in ways that are absolutely appropriate here.. truly engaging reading!

1 This is just so enjoyable to read. Blending the will they won’t they tension that so many shows have given us over the years…I feel the Bones/Booth Scully/Mulder with the fantastic banter of your Pam & Jim. And the way you weave in little nods to original canon is excellent!
Ohhhh that was a terrifically awful chapter. Well written, but heart burst for the bullying Pam got.

Jim missing Cece's recital is what makes Pam realize she's falling back into her old ways. She's accepting things she doesn't want to accept and not standing up for herself like she should. She decides she needs to find herself again before her and Jim can be happy.

This whole time was hard to watch and I love seeing the correlation between the start of the show with the last season. Pam really had stopped speaking up as much and Jim made really bonehead decisions.
I am in tears…. Good grief, I can feel the sadness and tension in each scene. And adding in Dwight missing was a PERFECT touch.

1 Enjoying this. So much more real and I genuinely feel that is exactly how it went for Pam, the weekend of thought and breaking up, that was always a ‘dumb Jim’ event when he did not give her the time she needed to process.
