10 That chapter was hilarious! I love Dwight and Mose's "date". I can really see Dwight acting like that because he does truly believe that Pam would behave like that on a date.

I like the whole Ryan and Pam thing because it is making Jim jealous, but Jim is kind of being an asshole. I just hope that maybe Ryan will truly just be using Pam. We need some Jim and Pam action! Pam and Ryan just seem to be lusting after each other. There are no feelings there. But, they seem to be getting closer, and I keep getting madder. I'm just pissed off right now! I can't believe that Pam cried out Ryan's name! I will check back later and see if you have come to your senses and made Jim more likeable and Pam and Jim together again.
Author's Response: Yikes, okay, not quite sure what to say, except for that I make no promises for a happy JAM ending. In my mind, this is a story about Pam and what she is going through, not just a Jim/Pam story. So thank you for reading!
10 I'll admit that I was pissed off when I read several chapters of this last week. But, then I thought about it all day. And, then I thought about it the next day. I have decided to accept it as an alternate universe story. It's not Jam, but I do like how you've written things out if Pam and Ryan did ever fall for each other. It's steamy and sexy, but it's very sweet and romantic at the same time. The only complaint that I still have is that Jim still isn't very likeable. And, even in an alternate universe, Jim would still be wonderful.

10 I'm liking this more and more everytime that I read another chapter. I've just had to separate my feelings about the show from it. I love Ryan and Kelly together, and of course, I'm such a Jam fan. But, you've written Ryan so well. I really liked it that he said, "I’m not Jim [...] Which means that I’m not moving to another state, and I’m not going to go out and find some replacement girlfriend." And, Pam really is trying to do things for herself now. It really takes a lot to get my mind off of Jam, and for the moment, you've captured it with this fic.
10 I will not throw garbage at you. This story has really grown on me. I can see how great Ryan and Pam could be together. Well, with the way that you've written Ryan. In your story, he's fantastic. He's sweet, romantic, and sexy. On the show, he's just as soon throw away a gold medal made from a yogurt lid and paper clips. You have managed the impossible - for me to love a story that isn't about Jam. In the end, I agree with your ending. It fits, and in this situation at least, it's what Pam needs to do. Thanks for giving us a look at what life could be like for Pam elsewhere.
