I'm switching to Yes on beta-reader, because I should have more time now that I've finished my own recent story and I'll probably take a break from writing. I don't know how many requests will come from that, so I reserve the right to change back to No if I get overwhelmed. :) But I am an unrepentant grammar Nazi, and have edited a LOT in the past, so I'm totally up for a little beta.

I like the way you've written Karen in this breakup. Other than the fact that there's a lot of swearing, which, obviously, is somewhat out of character just because they can't talk like that on NBC, I felt like she and Jim were very genuine in this chapter. Excellent job!
I love Pam's directions! So very sweet. And of COURSE she was looking at the boy's mouth. It's an excellent mouth. I'd be draped all over it--reception desk be damned!

Okay, first of all, I think your stylistic choices are fabulous. Excellent writing. It's like reading poetry and prose all in one. And I'm not talking about crap poetry from some vanity site featuring freshman girls in the throes of high school angst; I'm talking about honed, well thought out verse that shows a level of imagery you almost never see in the world of fanfic.
So, sorry to ramble, but this is just excellent writing. I had started reading this before work this morning, and I couldn't wait to come home and continue it tonight. Wonderful job. On to the next chapter!

10 Lovely. I don't know what else to say. I suppose I could list some of my favorite parts, but it'd be really hard because I think everything is so in character and so genuine. And just so...lovely. It's perfect, just like the perfect snow.

10 Oh. My. God.
First, I was like, "Aw, they're getting so comfy together," and then I was all, "Daaaang, baby, that's hot," and THEN I seriously almost cried at the end of the chapter, because it was so totally sweet and beautiful, and even though I never, ever cry, and even though I tried telling myself that my eyes were just dry from the fan circulating the air around too vehemently, I was totally lying to myself: I really, sincerely almost cried. Which is quite a feat, since I'm actually a cyborg and don't have that feature. So, you know, excellent job, because: misty-eyed me is a rare me.
I didn't love it, because it sucks that it had to go down like that, but because it was so believable, I didn't hate it, either, because...yeah, it pretty much DID have to go down like that. So it was a necessary evil, and I really like how Pam stood up for herself, so it wasn't like Jim and Mark had to swoop in and save her, because she was doing a decent job for herself, even though I'm glad they did come in and help. :)

I've only smoked once, but it was also with a cute guy friend who actually blew the smoke into my mouth for me since I thought it was too hot...so, anyway, yeah, this is really cute and kind of racy. But, I mean, obviously, drugs are bad and everything. Yep, totally. Do not do drugs! Unless they're good for fic purposes. ;)

9 Aw! I love it! I have to admit, the first time I saw a Kelly/Andy fic, I was like, "Huh--whaa?" The second time, it was more like, "Oh, okay. That could work." And now it seems totally natural, and I've enjoyed almost every one I've read.
This one, though, is extra-super enjoyable, because your writing style is great and your pacing is perfect, and you strike the perfect balance between sweetness and total mush-fest, the latter of which I don't know that I could actually take, as fond as I am of the pairing. :)
