I have to admit that this story disturbed me a bit.  Why does Pam's mom have to be such a crazy Mother In Law type?  I can't imagine that Pam's mom (whom she loves so much) would actually say to herself that her Daughter in Law would only become bearable once she gives her grandchildren.  That's so degrading, to Pam's mom as well as Pam's Sister in Law.  And it really bothered me that Pam reverted back to "Old Pam" at the end.  Can't there be a happy medium?
