Inspired by the premiere’s melancholy whiff o’Jam. Except with a happy ending, because…I felt like it. Contains a possible SPOILER – nothing you wouldn’t know unless you’ve avoided even those tiny tidbits in the mass media. Just saying, to be fair.10 My new all time favorite! You're brilliant.

This picks up pre-merger and is spoiler free, a bit AU as well. I began this back in October (maybe even September), and obviously the show has deviated quite a bit from what I speculated here.
This begins with angst, but there is a great deal of fluff, steam, smut, and silly...for several, several chapters. My idea was to go beyond the happy ending, so to speak.

I totally agree that for Pam, the worst thing that could happen in the office would be Jim pranking with someone else instead of her. That would be so heartbreaking to her. Nicely done. I also Looooooooovvvvvvvvvvvvved the Roy twist thrown in. Oh, My God and Jim actually told her to give him another chance!?! What a great freaking story this is turning out to be. Yay, I'm so excited. I can't believe he told her to give Roy another chance! I know I'm rambling on about it, but I'm really sitting here in shock! Oh, My God!

Post-Merger. A little angsty, a little triangular, but fear not - it doesn't end there. 10 Wow! Your writing continues to be an addictive gift. "the scent of her hair, her neck, is narcotic" - possibly the best line I've ever read, really. This was just fabulous.

Jim proposes to Pam......I guess I should just include this in my alternate universe series (it's a bit of a prequal to Labor Relations and DVD Saturday), but haven't done that yet.
