9 This chapter was so much fun to read although I was really worried something would happen to Pam because of Warrior Dwight there. Jim & Pam's pranking is always enjoyable though. I'm glad to hear we are getting one more chapter!!!

This is a continuation of The Secret. Maybe he thought she was pretty enough. Maybe he liked that she was plain. Maybe he loved her.9 I think you are right on the money in that Pam is that insecure. I think she doesn't quite believe Jim could be in love with her or at least, somehow thinks she doesn't deserve it. I loved their interactions in this story. Well done!
Author's Response: Thank you :) You just worded it perfectly. Pam doesn't think she deserves it. I have always gotten the impression that Pam thinks she should be grateful Roy wants to be with her when it is clearly the other way around.

For the Caught Red Handed and "Nobody knows" Challenges. Sometimes you're so distracted that you get careless and what you think is a big secret isn't such a secret at all. :)10 I love this!!! You were able to capture each character so well. It figures that Kevin would be renting porn and that Dwight would think it was all a plan to mess with his head! You always write such great stories. :)

8 Well written story. I wouldn't expect their relationship to be perfect, but this made me a bit sad: And she will never, ever tell him that it took her years to be entirely sure that she'd made the right choice, even after they were married. I can see Pam disliking things about Jim and doubting her choice at times, but on the whole, I would think that she has something more with Jim than she had with Roy.
Author's Response: I think so, too. I just think that Pam's insecurities (and the fact that she was so wrong for ten years) would keep her from really trusting herself or Jim for a long, long time. Thank you!

Spoilerish for various S2 DVD deleted scenes. Their first date was a date that...wasn't. Eventually though they finally got the hang of it.

This is a little story that takes place a few weeks after 'Casino Night'. It mostly concerns Pam, and contains alot of inner dialogue. Michael has engineered an 'Inspiration Poster' using a photo of Pam, and now she has to deal with fallout. It does bring her to a realization though...

Author's Response: Thanks! I figure even if their breakup hadn't been triggered by Roy setting the date and Jim getting upset, it would have happened before long anyway. Come on, Jim with a cheerleader? ;)
9 I can only say that it works for me. I like that you brought in what she liked about Roy, but how it just wasn't really working anymore. I'm convinced Roy and Pam have their moments of happiness together, but they don't seem to outweigh the moments of unhappiness anymore, especially in the light of Pam's relationship with Jim.
9 I think you did a great job! You managed to make it sexy and full of heat, which is hard to do. Well done!
