After The Job, Jim and Pam don't go on their date, but not because Jim didn't ask. Write a story where Jim and Pam don't quite make it on their date, but still get together.
Two employees met before landing their job at Dunder-Mifflin, but they don't remember ever crossing paths.
With his public speaking skills and frequent coordination and leading of coworkings in activities like Office Olympics and fire drill games, Jim seems like a natural teacher. And while there are a few stories with a Jim as a teacher, there should be way more, because there just should be. So write a story about Professor Halpert, especially one that including a relationship with pretty student/teaching assistant/fellow prof Pam Beesly. And of course butting heads with Prof Schrute for good measure. (For a little inspiration here’s John’s recent commencement speech at Brown, and you can seek out him earning an honorary doctorate for other academic visuals ;-) )

How would the Dunder-Mifflinites answer the infamous Proust Questionnaire? Use any version of the questionnaire you wish. Here is an example.
The documentary airs and it becomes something of a reality TV hit, as everyone in fake TV land becomes as fanatic as we in real TV land. The story opens just after "Casino Night" has aired, complete with the confession & the kiss. Time has passed between the moment when that was filmed and the airdate. Jim and Pam are not together. I'll let you decide the circumstances. So, what happens? How does Jim deal with having his heart broken in front of everyone? Does Pam come by to visit? Do they re-establish contact? Is Jim mobbed by a huge crowd of weeping women and carried off to Utah for a polygamous mass wedding?

No one (that I know of, correct me if I'm wrong) has written a fic about Jim taking the job & moving to New York with Karen and how/if Pam would react to that. In my thoughts, it would talk about right after The Job when Jim leaves (again) and what Pam does. Then maybe two years later, Pam gets a job at corporate as a graphic designer and they are reunited..
What if the office was robbed while everyone was still there? Let your imagination run wild.
Suggestions: This can be set in any season, with any or all of our beloved office characters. How would Dwight really react in a life or death situation? Would everyone be held hostage for a time or would they spring into action right from the start? Who would protect whom in the event of a life and death situation? would Kevin protect his jar of candy or would he be the first to protect his beloved accounting team? If Pam is the first person to see the robbers coming is she in the most danger or can she hide first and try to close the door before they get in? Be creative.

I may just be pepped up from seeing a live production of Rocky Horror picture show, but I think it would be fabulous to issue the challenge of The Office does Rocky Horror. I have visions of Michael as Dr. Frank N. Furter, and Dwight in sexy black camisoles and fishnets that absolutely must be indulged. How about it? ;)

What if Jim and Pam's roles were reversed? What if Jim had been the one engaged while Pam was single and in love with Jim the whole time... How would that have played out?Write a story with Penny Beesly or Larisa Halpert (or both!) in a central role. Here are a few ideas: Keep it in canon and write their take on the Jim and Pam "will they won't they" era, or write the first time Penny met Jim or Larisa met Pam. Go a little canon divergent and have one of them visit the office one day and see first hand what their siblings are always complaining about. Or go full AU, maybe a high school fic where Pam and Larisa were best friends, or modern AU where Penny knows Jim and helps set him up with Pam.(check out the counterpart challenge: Mamas and the Papas )

I was reading a book, and I loved this quote:
ed I miei sogni usati, Ed I bei sogni miei, tosto si dileguar
Now all my past dreams, my beautiful dreams, have melted at once into thin air.
Hopefully someone can do it justice.
With JKras getting ready to play CIA analyst-turned-secret-agent in Jack Ryan, I think many of us are craving some "Jim Halpert is actually a spy" fic. So, write a story where Jim is a secret agent and an unsuspecting Pam finds out and gets caught up in the plot. Or flip the roles, maybe shy quiet Pam is the spy and Jim discovers her double-life. Whether you chose to keep it mostly realistic like Jack Ryan and the Bourne movies or go full cool-gadget sexy-globetrotting James Bond style is up to you!

Branch Wars. Pam likes the mustache. Jim obliges. 100 words.
The children of Dwangela and Jam meet and fall in love. Could Jim really stand it if his little girl married Dwight K. Schrute the 4th? Could Angela live with bridemaids wearing green dresses at the wedding? Pure chaos ensues in the houses of Schrute and Halpert.
