Ooooof. I love Pam clocking Katy's interest in marrying Jim and his unhappiness even amidst all the hubbub and celebration of what turned out to be a big night for her. Come on, Jim, she's giving you an opening.
Also, the cutting of the toast was criminal.

Wow. This was perfect for that episode. Although such a sad note for me to have to end on. (that whole test thing I mentioned... gotta go fail)

"actually we decided to not see each other anymore" - okay, maybe a bit of an untruth. ;)
Now, see? Pam says she's there for him if he wants to talk. How about 'Hey, you just set the date, so is this a better time to say "I'm in love with you" than one month before your wedding?' Now that's talking! Alas, that didn't happen.
Author's Response: Yeah, well, you know, they had a pretty good game of pretending they were "just friends" Who knows if Pam really meant that, or if she was just trying to maintain the "friends" facade?

I think all of our hearts broke for him on that Booze Cruise.
You've done a great job of capturing heartbreak through IMing!
Author's Response: Yeah, I can't watch that episode without my heart breaking for Jim, even more than Casino Night . . . Thanks for your comments :-)

Oh, Jim is so good at lightening the mood with a joke. And I am glad that Pam expressed her feelings for Jim and thanked him... even if it pales in comparison to Jim's feelings/declaration of Casino Night (which I am looking forward to reading your addition to!).
Author's Response: Yes, I feel the need for Pam to give Jim a little more to go on in these messages. I don't know how the Casino Night chapter is going to quite yet . . .

YOU'RE BACK! Yay! And the plot thickens. I loved how Jim's answers in the Booze Cruise chapter seemed a little clipped, like you can tell he's still hurting pretty badly. And I also liked how Pam didn't spill the beans on Dwangela even though she totally could have! Hope you can post again soon :-)
Author's Response:
Yeah, poor Jim. He's trying to keep things humorous but I don't he could have helped but act hurt the day after the Booze Cruise. I'm looking forward to when Pam and Jim figure out that the other one knows about Dwangela, hehe.
