So, I'm thinking Pam has an incling that Squirrel_McPants is Jim since when he first comes into the chat room vexin says "speak of the devil" in reference to McPants and seems to be talking about Jim. And is Pam just really horny? Because I feel like if she's just looking to temporarily fill a void she wouldn't do it with Squirrel, since he's become sort of a confidant. I'm thinking she's suspicious of something right now.
...But I could be totally off the mark, too, so, yeah...

I may have things thrown at me for this, but I really hope McPants does not send her a picture, either of himself or Jonathan or someone else. I kind of like that McPants is absent and not defined for her; that way it's kind of like he's whispering in her ear as the voice of reason, telling her how to deal with Jim. Or maybe I'm just hoping for many chapters of delicious suspense before she discovers Jim is McPants!
That being said, I read this part earlier today and the part where she says it might take a month or two made me stop in my tracks. I can't keep checking this site five times a day for more Squirrel for another two months!!!

God I love this story. I'm trying to decide whether if I were Jim I would do the "You've Got Mail" ending, arranging for a meeting and then showing up and hoping she forgives his deception. I always though Jenna Fischer compares to Meg Ryan a bit. You rule, by the way.

I am so glad you brought up Wedding Singer, I have most of the songs from the Musical on my Jim/Pam playlist...ooh ooh if you can find the song "If I Told You" I think you'd really enjoy it...and "Grow Old With You" is much prettier and it has an extra verse...

I think that Pam knows it's him and she's known all along. I'm wondering if now she is getting frustrated because he's broken up with Karen and still hasn't said anything to her despite knowing how she feels.

Ooh... I'm not sure what to think of Pam's attitude towards Jim now. Seems like Jim is in a bind as well not only with the picture but because it's going to become more difficult to conceal who he is. I'm looking forward to seeing how this works out!
