PS - the book Dooflegna refers to that I used in Fates is an actual book. Sold on Amazon. If you want Dwight to mention it to Jim to freak him out you have my blessing.

If I were Jim, I would have showed up at Pam's house to watch Wedding Singer, and confessed ALL, including "I was only dating Karen because I thought you only wanted friendship and it was killing me." But... where's the drama in that, right?
Does Pam know it's Jim? Is she messing with him? I thought the favorite color thing was a pretty big clue; it's hard to believe she doesn't suspect....?
Of course, I adore the whole Kelly subplot. I was glad you updated us on how things are with Karen; I was wondering how that was going!
I like how you snuck in "the Roy thing".

Jim, Jim, Jim. *sigh* This story is so well done, you've got ME guessing. Does Pam know or not know? Does Vexin know and has she told Pam? What the heck is Jim gonna do for a photo? And is Pam pushing for one because she wants to see how far Jim will take his lie?

Unbelievable. I'm loving where this is going. I can't wait to see what photo he sends her, to see whether he asks Vexin anything, and, more long-term, see just how long Jim is going to stay like that before he tells her. So much longer by now, at least, I'm sure.
Also, can I say how much I love that Pam is crushing on McPants, clearly Jim, because it shows how much she loves Jim? Oh, true love. *feels cheesy*

yay! new squirrel. i knew it was a good sign when i saw a squirrel outside my window (ignore the fact that there are more squirrels than people on my campus and there is always a squirrel outside my window).
and darnit, i just had to accept the fact i would be spoiled for the wedding singer, since i hadn't seen it. oh well. if that is what it takes :P
when i read the line about meeting up, this is the closest to what was coming out of my mouth -"gibit dit nitty blhit!" and my hands were waving. stoped waving like mad only enough to write this.

I was just rereading The Fates Are Laughing and I came across the title of a book that would be a perfect inclusion sometime during this story: Outwitting Squirrels: 101 Cunning Stratagems to Reduce Dramatically the Egregious Misappropriation of Seed from Your Birdfeeder by Squirrels. So you should use that somewhere down the line. Because that'd be awesome.

This is such an addictive story - please update very soon! I'm curious to know who Vexin is, and of course what will happen. I thought maybe Vexin was Kelly (who's kind of a Vixen off-line) but I think Vexin's been on the chat for a while and Kelly only recently learned about it. I'm all out of theories. Great job!
