Oh my, Moxie, I sincerly hope this is taking a You've Got Mail sort of tone, because that would be just awesome. I can totally picture Jim the Joe Fox character, just minus the feuding bookstore plotline, who needs it?
I agree with everyone else, you should get to posting the next chapter because this is like fanfic crack!
Author's Response: I remembered that film after I came up with the basic plot of this story, and I can definitely see were you'd find the similarities. I do love that movie - and I can see Jim as Joe Fox as well. :-) All I can say is that in the end, love should prevail like it did in the film!! :-)

Yes, I am quite fond of Jim's chat name. I thought at first it was too silly, but others convinced me otherwise. And I can believe he'd actually pick a name like that, because even though he doesn't want Pam to know it's him, he still would want to get her attention. He may find out this idea was more than he bargained for. And I hope I don't let you down with Chapter 2, which I am off to work on now....

And, I'm such a nerd - when Pam signed on, I actually got a little nervous - I was thinking, "Oh , be careful," but I'm not sure who was supposed to be careful - him or her. Great storytelling.
