This is funny, but more importantly: I am blown away by how well you predicted Stress Relief.

I can 100% see Dwight acting this way...

Yeah. I will start choking. She can save me. Start of a great love story.
OK michael that is totally not the reason you should start choking on something and it most like will not start a great love story. *sigh*
Still great though. I remember reading this a long time ago but I never reviewed it at the time but I'm makign up for lost time! Very cute and who doesn't love wounded jim? C'mon! :) Lovely EH!
Author's Response: A review at any time is awesome.Which is why self-pimpage is a great thing. I get more reviews.Yays! I can just totally imagine Michael thinking it would be great. But seriously, the concious choking moves - are totally romantic *daydreams about her crush a fellow cpr instructor*

Great ensemble piece. You got every character down great. I loved that Michael really did hit Ryan, so funny. And Dwight thinking he can do better than the instructor, hah!
The one thing that would have been better is if you let Pam and Jim stay partners and they did some serious mouth-to-mouth exercises :) Oh! What about one more chapter where they practice together!
But on a personal note, yay for volunteering for the Red Cross! I'm sure you're helping to save lots of lives, and this story reminded me that my certification is almost up, so thanks!
Author's Response:
Thanks. It was my first (and still only really) ensemble piece. Thankfully, my class today was no where near as bad as it would have been at DM.. yes, that is really a nightmare in the making.
I was toying with the idea of Jim and Pam still being able to be partners... but, I also know that really we aren't allowed to let that happen unless necessary, and my prompt was more for a non-JAM session. So, I figured, I would keep it in tune with season two and just light flirtation.... but, yes... I will say, practicing concious choking - incredibly sweet and romantic. I love being the choking person when I am teaching with my crush (oh yeah, he can abdominal thrust me any time :P)
Totally get your certification renewed. I could teach you... exept, that would mean you would have to live in the same general area as me. Red Cross is my passion - a love hate relationship we have. I love them, but when they take up all my time... it takes me from my true love (office, of course)

Nice. I can just see Michael saying "Start of a great love story". That's really his phrasing.
Author's Response: Haha, thanks. Michael is hard to write, so I am glad that sounds like him.

Nice story! I could definitely see this storyline fitting in with the actual show. Good job!
Author's Response: Thanks!

when I noted that jim and pam couldn't pair up I thought 'drat'. cute story
Author's Response:
Haha, yeah. Being an instructor, I know that yeah, they really really really don't like male/female pairs. I could have technically allowed it, but it worked out better when I was making up the pairs :)
Thanks for reviewing

Oh my god, SO GOOD! You handle an ensemble fic extremely well. All of the characters are entirely believable, especially Dwight and Michael, whom I consider challenging to write.
This line made me guffaw: “He doesn’t look happy.”
Ha! I like that you let us see the CPR instructor's thoughts. Very funny.
Now all I want you to do as add a chapter 2 to this in which Jim actually does choke and need Pam to perform CPR on him. And then they get married and have babies. *nod*
Author's Response:
You're so nice! Seriously, this made my day! It was my first attempt at a real ensemble piece, so I am glad it worked out so well.
Haha, that would be a fun chapter 2 to write, but I think I will leave it... although my next story has some serious JAM action, once I get that written... its written in my head, apparently that doesn't work (and then I gotta wait for it to be betaed, because that makes it about a thousand times better)
