Extremely funny, especially the pink panties disaster.

Drunk Pam is cute, and stepping in front of Roy - that was awesome. I love how Jim wanted Roy to punch him lol.

Awww.  I'm so, so sad to see this one go...but so thankful that you wrote it in the first place.  Thank you for this sweet, lovely adorable little world you created.

Oh Lovefool, I have such high praise for you. You have a gift, seriously, your writing is spot on. I remember over the summer I would spent hours at a time reading these chapters and I'd stay up all night reading and envying your talent. I'm sure I've already told you this but you are my favorite fanfic writer of all time (and I read them a lot, not just Office ones either). This chapter was pure perfection, and you know how to write so that everything makes so much sense. I'm sad to see this end, but please continue writing more stories! I won't be able to survive without them.

Wow... has it really been three years? Seems crazy. Such a great adventure this story has been.... however, it now seems wrong that the new Halpert is not named Jill.

Aw, this is the end? I've been following this story for EVER! But, if it had to end, this was a good way for it to end! And I'm glad that I finished reading it the night Jim and Pam had their baby on the show. Everything about this story was simply wonderful!

Ah ha ha! Clever Pam!
What I love about this story is how realistic it is. It doesn't matter that it's not full of drama. I love reading about Jim and Pam's everyday life.

Wow, what a masterpiece you've written, LoveFool! And you even got to use your Lovefool song again, man, that was hilarious! What a sweet chapter and it's been a pleasure reading this, even if reading vs. homework was on my No-Jill list! Great job, and this has just been a joy to read.

P.S., the first time you mentioned Alyse, it was spelled Alyce, so I'd suggest choosing a spelling and sticking with it (I personally like Alyse with a s more!)

12/10 for this chapter!

Maybe it's all the promos--maybe it's your ridiculously good writing--but all I know is, when I finished this chapter I teared up.

This family is beautiful, please bring us something new and more soon?

Bless you Lovefool for sharing your gift of storytelling with us. Every chapter has been such a loving tribute to 'family'. Setting it in the world of Jim and Pam was icing on the cake.

Wow, you had me at the author's notes. I actually thought I was going to cry at Here's to swaying being dancing after all... I've loved this entire story so much - it was one of the first ones I read when I started reading this forum, and it never fails to bring a smile to my face. How perfect that it end with Godfather Michael. Can we now pronounce you the Boss of Babyfic? *standing ovation*

A bit on the fly here, cause I have about 9 bazillion things to do before delivering the baby tonight (woops...that's Pam not me!) but had to commemorate this moment. You finished! And in TOP FORM, babe.  You are still the queen of dialogue and those perfect little touches (looking for an iron, like the hospital is a hotel - hee!) Not to mention writing a small child who's adorable without making your teeth hurt.

It's was an honor to be even a very tiny part of this...and what the hell, for old time's sake: I believe it's Pitocin, not Pitosin ;-) Well done, missy!

Want to hear a little story, hey LoveFool? So I get to the end of this chapter, read your little 'thank you' note and get a lump in my throat. Then go back to discover, yes it has been marked complete. And do you know what I did next? I cried. That's right LF, you made me cry. Are you happy now?! ;)

In all seriousness, there is a reason why this was one of the first stories I favourited. It is so amazingly pitch perfect. Everyone is perfectly in character. Everyone is funny and sweet but real as well. Jill isn't perfect but she's adorable. Jim isn't perfect but he's pretty damn close. And same for Pam. They're parents in this, of course they're not going to be perfect 'isn't being a parent so easy!'. It's tough! But you do your best and enjoy it (or so I've been told at least). And because of that realism, I've always pictured the little Halpert family as exactly the way that you've described them. In fact I had a dream the other night where I watched the actual episode to discover they were calling her Jill. True story!

This is the epitome of great, cute, entertaining and authentic babyfic. You've set the bar exceptionally high for all other babyfics, LF. You are the master. I have read this story again and again and again. And I will continue to do so long after the Halpert family have established themselves on TV. Thank you so much for this. I hope my review reflects even just a fraction of how much I love 'Baby Talk'. *sniff*

I'm okay, I'm fine...just have something in my eye again...

*wails*

Okay, seriously? You're just the damn best/goddess in the babyfic world. I love this story so much. One of my favorite chapters of anything will always be your "She: a Lesson in Pronouns" chapter from this story. And this chapter just makes me even more excited for tomorrow (today!). I love all of your stories -- you blend tension and heart and fluff and feeling and great characterization and you do it well. You rock. I'm so glad that Labor Relations expanded just a bit .. into thirty-one awesome chapters. You're one of my favorite writers on the site and there's just no question as to why. Beautiful story, one that I've always reread now and then, and will continue to. I'm going to miss your little character of Jill. I hope one day you'll be moved to give us a little oneshot of Jill and Alyse hanging out, being different or the same?, but until then, I love the ending to this one. You always have kept Jim and Pam as a couple who's just going to do what they're doing and have fun doing it, basically. And at the end of this chapter, that's all I'm thinking about -- look at these two with their little girls. They're going to have so much fun.

Great job, lovefool! Thanks for being awesome. I'll miss this story; I'm happy there's plenty to reread.

These letters are breaking me. I can't wait to see what you have next. If your plan is to wait until Thursday night to post them, I'm going to hate you a little, but the wait will be worth it, I'm sure.

I hate to see this one come to an end, but I love your updates and your little character of Jill growing up. You write Jim and Pam as parents, who are still figuring it out, so well. I loved Pam's astonishment at Jill getting just tall. And her emotions over this new baby, and taking care of her still-a-baby Jill.

Wow, that was sweet and just beautifully written. Great job and I can't wait for #31! P.S. At the beginning (sorry to not be more specific then that, I can't remember!) there was one sentence where you mixed up the order of the last two words. That's the only typo, though, nice work!

Oh my.  This was fantastic, LoveFool.  You had me at "mama."  I was a sucker for that, too.  It takes me to a very specific place--when my teenager was Jill's age.  *sigh*  And these letters?  *sob*  Fantastic, I tell ya.

You're the only person whose managed to write a story that I want to read again--and it's not even finished yet!

The way you write these characters continues to amaze me--and honestly, their letters hit close to home. My Mom and Dad wrote me letters when I was growing up :) It's beautiful to look back on them as a 22 year old girl and it really just makes me so happy to hear this in a story..

Thank you so much for this story, I'm going to be sad to see it end.

Honestly, I could read this for hours - just Jim and Pam talking. You capture the cadence and the dialogue between them perfectly. When I come to the end of one of these chapters I'm sad because I want them to go on for at least a couple more hours. If the "real" Jim and Pam are half this cute with their kid, I may die of "Awwww." Well done, as always. I'm looking forward to seeing how this next part goes down.

I really like this chapter because it seemed so genuine. I hear stories all the time about when my mother had my younger sister and how I reacted to the whole situation and this chapter reminded me about a lot of that. My mom had the same fears and I clung to my parents and my older sister because I missed them and wanted to remain the baby of the family. There is even recorded evidence of my mom staring at me looking at the baby for the first time and when she asked me if I wanted to bring her home, I quickly replied "no" and screamed "I'm the baby, I'm the baby!" all the way down the halls as we left. So, I understand how difficult this can be for a mother and a child, but hey, I did eventually get used to my younger sis. Great job. Sorry for the very unimportant anecdote, just reminded me of it.
