Okay, baby fic does not usually make me weepy, but this absolutely did. It was so funny most of the way through (god, how adorable would Jim be in this situation?), but the last few lines pack such an emotional punch. The image of him leaning his forehead against hers? Guh. It's one of those moments that I could see so clearly...just gorgeous.
Bravo!
Author's Response: Maybe, if they ever speak to each other on the show again, we might actually get an emotional moment between them for real? Am I dreaming? Anyway - it means alot that you thought this was both fun and emotional - kind of wanted to hit both notes without over doing it. And thanks so much for so many reviews - I feel so honored!

This story is so damned much fun that really, I could just read chapter after chapter, scenario after scenario. I love their voices here (Jim's inner monologue in which he'd be willing to parachute over Dwight's beet farm made me laugh right out loud). And oddly enough, we're on the same wave length yet again - I'm trying now to write the rehearsal dinner for Only (which is becoming a major pain - I don't do these things well).
Anyway, excellent work! On to the next --
Author's Response: Oooh, can't wait for your update! And yeah, the guy just wants to marry her. Anywhere, anytime. So glad this silly thing is keeping you entertained - many thanks, girl7!

Oh, I love happy Jim and Pam, married Jim and Pam, pregnant Jim and Pam... It is all so happy and fun. Thanks for that! It was really enjoyable.
Author's Response: Glad to hear I'm not the only one with an urge to see them happy with all the trimmings on occasion...I figure I owe it to them once in a while! Thanks for the feedback desert island!

Awwwwww! I want to see baby JAM !! I want an actual baby JAM !! Baby JAMs for everyone!!!
Author's Response: If you want to read GREAT baby Jam ...check out LoveFool's Baby Talk series - she's the master of that genre. Glad you enjoyed colorblind - thanks!

I am the biggest sucker in the entire universe for Jim-and-Pam-have-a-baby fics. SUCH a sucker. I am loving this fic and this chapter was so sweet! Just the right combination of love and sarcastic Pam.
Author's Response: Happy you thought this chapter had the right balance - feared crossing the dreaded line from sweet into diabetic coma with this one! What can I say, I needed to get it out of my system. Thanks so much, juteux - appreciate it!

Colette, I loved all of these stories so much. Between you and hugs, we're getting lots of happy Jammy fluff. I just love it when we get to see them outside the office doing normal, everyday stuff as a twosome. So cute and romantic.
Thanks bunches!
Author's Response: I love imagining them away from the office too - especially lately! And thanks bunches for this lovely review, EverybodyHurts!

:) This was wonderful! I think I loved the "toast" chapter the best - you captured Michael and his oddities and humor so well without him even having to appear in the scene! And I love the sweetness/tenderness in the last chapter.
Author's Response: So glad you thought sweet/tender came thru - exactly as I hoped (and was afraid I'd slipped into tragic sapdom instead!) And, I think the bond on the show between Jim/Michael is so touching - despite all his craziness there's something real between them. Glad to hear you thought Michael felt right here....thanks so much, Semby!

i love these stories! please write another one!
Author's Response: This cycle is done...but you never know when they might feel like talking again ; ) Thanks much for the feedback!

Oh, Colette. Just gorgeous. It's so enjoyable to read them being a couple and growing as people. Thanks for all of these wonderful conversations.
Author's Response: So glad you enjoyed them. Once in a while I owe them a story where they get to be happy! Thanks so much, bitterpill!

‘Pam, you know how much I love you, right?’ he whispers against her lips. ‘I’m more in love with you right now than I’ve ever been…and that’s saying a lot.’
You already know how much I adore that line. So perfectly Jim...and why this whole estrangement is heartbreaking.
You can keep them talking - and I'll keep them doing chores.
Deal? :)
Author's Response: Absolutely a deal - I'm cyber shaking your hand right now! And, why are they estranged again? (Scratching head....) Well, they say patience is a virtue...of course, finishing what you start (Greg Daniels, I'm looking at you) is one too ; ) As ever, xoxoxo thanks for being such a great sounding board! Really appreciate it!!

I have such a weakness for Pregnant Pam and Daddy Halpert. And Pam realizing that it would be kind of sweet and appropriate for Michael to speak at the wedding was just perfect. Love it!
Author's Response: I know, the whole Pam/Jim preggers thing turns my brain to sap! So glad you liked - and thanks, lama!
Date: March 20, 2007 05:29 pm Title: Another Toast
Okay, firstly? I really want Michael to toast to Pam's chest. Just because that would be sweetly amusing.
Secondly (because I know you can take it, dear):
She just stares at him. Not laughing. Not charmed. He tries another tack.
(I think it's supposed to be tact, but I could be wrong.)
Author's Response: First - glad you like the toast, fwf. But the word actually is 'tack' - it means 'direction' - as in a sailboat veering one way or another ; ) Thanks for keeping me on my toes though!

Yay! JamBaby! (and Naked Jim!) And Pam has every right to be a bitch. (Drugs are good, Pam, they have drugs at the hospital, get to the hospital, drugs are good....)
Author's Response: I hear you, lisahoo...when they finally gave me an epidural with my first, I saw god. Is it gratuitous that I made Jim be naked? Oh dear. I just liked the idea of him jumping out of bed and being a kind of freaked out (and sorry, MY Jim does not wear pajamas.) Thanks for being such a great reviewer!

This fic has so much fluff you could stuff a bear-but I love that. Everything is so in character, from the playful bantering, to Jim persuading Pam to let him take her to Europe. Please write more. Soon!
Author's Response: Glad you thought it was in character, scors7. And yeah, my last story was pretty angsty, so I needed to write something good and frothy to counteract the effect! Thanks for reviewing!

"Give me a C! Give me an O!"
Sorry, you said cheerleader and I starting waving my pompoms (TWSS). As always you know how to spin a saucy little vignette. And I can't help but think that "Buttering his muffin" is a euphemism for something naughty. Must be the way your write it!
Author's Response: Oh, you and your pompoms again...and buttering his muffin implying something not breakfast related? Moi? You know how G-rated I like to stay! Seriously, writing this nutty thing was like eating candy - almost too much fun. Thanks for your - as ever - awesome encouragement. Now if I could only get you to wear that uniform, I could have my own pep rally!

‘A little known STD passed along by the males in my family.’
‘Oh, I see. And the symptoms of this condition would be…?’
‘In women, such as yourself? Insatiable desire for their Halpert husbands…or fiancés, as the case may be.’
‘Mmm hmm. Sounds rough…maybe I should check with Dwight to see if it’s covered under our medical plan.’
I literally laughed out loud at that. Awesome Colette!
Author's Response: That is so great to hear, LoveFool! I mean really - can you imagine being engaged to Jim and NOT getting that syndrome? Thanks so much for your review!
Date: March 19, 2007 08:37 pm Title: Affliction with No Cure
Great Googly Moogly. There is no cure for Halpert Syndrome. Not even this: http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y254/lisahoo/office/drjohn.jpg
Author's Response: Oh my god, greatest review ever because I got my first lisahoo original photo! That is TOO funny - seriously, you should show the crowd over at TWoP your handy work...you may start a whole new trend of Doc Jim fics! And yup...no cure, but the treatment is pretty effective I hear ; )
Date: March 19, 2007 08:31 pm Title: Quarter-Anniversary
Ah, Jim's desk decor from Benihana Christmas -- hee! four years is a long time.
And who wouldn't want to rip Jim's clothes off with their teeth? But that might take a bit too long. And yes, Pam is lucky. The luckiest freaking woman in the world.
Author's Response: Damn right she is - now if she'd just stop moping around and do something about it on the show. Thanks much, lisahoo!
Date: March 19, 2007 07:55 pm Title: Quarter-Anniversary
"That was festive." I love that line. I am going to be incorporating it into my daily vocabulary, if that's okay. Onto chapter 2!!
Author's Response: Feel free! Glad you liked it. Thanks, Jen!
Date: March 19, 2007 07:20 pm Title: Vacation (Hold the Rice-a-Roni)
‘…we could hang out in cafes and you could sketch and I could…watch you.’
The cuteness of that line, and this whole fic in general, cannot be put into words. Seriously.
Author's Response: Couldn't you just see him watching her - and loving every minute of it? So happy you enjoyed it, Rowena - thanks!

Colette, thank you for all this Jammy goodness. Is your "Sounds rough..." a purposeful call-back to Health Care?
I enjoyed your 1st 3 conversations!
Author's Response: Yes, it was...and I seriously didn't expect anyone to pick that up (figured it would just be one of those little things I knew was there!) I'm tickled...thanks so much Too Late Kev!

I just adore this...you do sunshine so brilliantly. Their hypothetical happy moments seem so vivid and believable.
Author's Response: Wow, what a great compliment...makes me feel a little less silly about unleashing these on the world! Thanks, brokenloon!
Date: March 19, 2007 06:22 pm Title: Affliction with No Cure
This was such a lovely read. You've got the fun, flirty banter down pat. :)
Author's Response: Well, vicariously flirting with Jim has little use in real life, but it sure makes writing this silliness fun! Thanks much MA!
Date: March 19, 2007 06:00 pm Title: Quarter-Anniversary
Just lovely my dear. As lovely here as they were earlier.
Can't wait for the world to see the last two - because as far as I'm concerned they ain't seen anything yet. ;)
Author's Response: Hee...these silly things were entirely too much fun to write. Thanks for encouraging me to embrace my inner fluffball, xoxoxo!
Date: March 19, 2007 05:19 pm Title: Affliction with No Cure
Squee! Can't wait for the next two chapters. The reference to Halpert Husbands did me in for a good solid minute. Oh to have a Halpert Husband.
Author's Response: Yes, Halpert Syndrome is an affliction I think a lot of us wouldn't mind contracting. Thanks, lama!
