I just have to say this is such a great story. Everyone's voices are amazing and I really want to know what direction you're heading! As much as I don't like the Ryan/Pam relationship, you're making me like it! :) Can't wait for more!
Author's Response: Yeah I definitely see the parallel between those two lines as well! I don't think he says things like that on purpose, but since he knows Pam he knows how to get a good shot in. I'm sticking with you. I really like Ryan being more likable, and the interactions between Pam and Ryan (so far). However, Pam and Ryan should not makin' love at midnight. At least, not with each other.

Very good start to the story, and I am actually really loving the Pam and Ryan interaction...even so much as to say part of me is rooting for them to hookup. If Jim wants to act like a baby and pout because of actions that Roy took when Pam was just being honest, then he can just stay with his wonderful girlfriend Karen and watch Pam flirt with Ryan...suck on that Halpert!! Keep up the good work.

Not Scared! Love Jealous!Jim and Ryan's assessment that they need to stick together - makes me think of the grief circle scene.
So funny: Ryan swearing the phone won't work, warning Kelly multiple times, then just hanging up.
This made me breathe diet pepsi, so thanks for that: "Yes! Baltimore is in Maryland. You’re really doing great with this new area of the country, Karen,” Michael answers proudly. So hilarious! I can't figure if he's being earnest or sarcastic (probably earnest).
Love that Karen's not an evil bit-cuh.
