This story is amazing. It makes me want to write, and God knows I can't write to save my life. So something actually inspiring me to make a moron out of myself...that takes talent. Haha.
Update again soon!
Author's Response: Thanks for your comments. There are a lot of amazing writers on this site who inspired me to write. I woudn't sell yourself short so quickly. Thanks again!

Awww, I love seeing the softer side of Jan. This was very sweet, with appropriate doses of funny as well :)
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you liked it!

Trust me, I’m better than a shrink, just not as hip.
Excellent. These last two chapters have gotten better and better. Your voice here is so...calm and wise and gentle and good-humored. Divine. Really.
Author's Response: Thanks. I really appreciate your comments. As i've said, I totally ripped off God's voice from Wilton Barnhardt.

This is great, although it took me about halfway through before I realized the italics were God's lines. I thought it was Jan talking to herself...
Hey, where can I sign up for the cloister program? It's sounding pretty good...
Author's Response:
Thanks for the feedback. I realize now, I should have pointed that out in the notes.
I know I need a vacation too. Thanks again for your review.

I gotta say, I was excited to read Jan's thoughts with God, so even when I read the chapter title, I was like awesome.
Jan likes pink.... I would take those roses... I think they would be cool and unique. And finding deep navy blue flowers... heck, any time I get blue flowers, I just love em. Its like, nope, roses, they suck. But I got like blue carnations once and loved them.
I felt so sorry for that little line about Jan's mom (Gods response). Since I also lost a parent (not when I was 11, I was slightly older), any time with death of a parent just touches me like that.
But then I smiled when I learned how she lost her virginity.
I loved all of Jan's thoughts, esp that there really isn't Dr. Perry's. I really really am enjoying Jan recently, how she isn't just Jan, she has depth and everything.
Author's Response: I really have warmed up to Jan as well. Thanks, as always, for your excellent review.

These are all so good. The gifts all put everyone in such a good light, especially Roy's gift to Pam and Pam's gift to Karen.
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you liked it.

Awww, this was so sweet! Thanks for reminding me of the little 'gifts' and hidden kindnesses in the Christmas episode!
Author's Response: Glad that you liked it. I'm always so amazed at how the writers can fit so much into an episode that all goes with a similar theme.

Are you trying to make me fail my class? I was about to be a good student and study for my quiz this evening. But, then I saw this was updated, and so yeah... Or maybe I just need to stop letting Office take over my brain...whatever.
I love Pam's gift. So heartbreakingly sweet and sad the way you described it.
Actually, I love the thought you put into all the gifts.
Now, I will study. Because it is 10% of my grade, and that is a lot. But this is better than studying, so I am glad I took a break.
Author's Response: Thanks for your review.Godwould want you to study..... =)

Awwww. Ryan/Kelly are so cute, and you write them so well.
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm so glad you enjoyed this.

I love that Phyllis refers to Bob as Bob Vance, Vance Refrigeration even in her prayers. Another great chapter.
Author's Response: Thanks Rowena....I was a little worried that it didn't quite ring true, but I figure if something is a force of habit in your normal life, it would transfer to prayer.

[Angela…the green thing…that is just you, you know. I don’t have a problem with it. I kind of created green.]
Hehe! Loved that, and Dwight referring to Angela as his Arwen, and G-d making a TWSS joke, and basically the whole chapter. Really interesting, funny premise.
Author's Response: Thanks so much. Sometimes what I love about Angela is how she just makes up these rules about morality from nowhere....like Green being whorish.

Hahahaha I'm not done reading yet, but I had to stop to comment on the fact that God's TWSS made me laugh a highly unholy little laugh while sitting at my desk. You should have a not safe for work warning on this. :)
Author's Response: Thanks Azlin. I appreciate your comments and you reccing this over on TWOP. Don't worry, though, if you get in trouble at work. God has your back....or maybe that's Kevin that does.....

Sting as Oz? OMG! and the Stacey/Kelly dream? Niiiiiiiice!!
Author's Response: Glad you liked them! Thanks for your repeated reviews!

and one dream where Stacey left him for Kelly (I realized too late that he liked that one a little too much).
Heeh, that's awesome. I love this entire story (not to mention that the fic's title is possibly one of the best ever) and cannot wait for the next chapter.
Author's Response: No....thank you for the inspirational title! Glad you liked what came out of it.

'other stuff inside' wow! so hilarious.
Good job Kevin. Carrots are yummy. Along with Twinkies. I am not a fan of Doritos.
And, good job working in the 69 Accidental Refridgerators
Author's Response: Thanks Emily. I appreciate your repeated reviews. I have to be in a very specific mood to enjoy Doritos, but I think Kevin would like how their crisp, cheesy texture mixes in with the TWinkies.

This is so sad. "Oh, The Baroness." Yeah, that's exactly how Pam would see Karen.
Date: April 09, 2007 06:16 am Title: Interlude -- Kelly and Ryan
Oh, they are too sweet.
Author's Response: Thanks! Though, they....and especially Ryan initially grated on me, I've depeloped quite a soft spot for them as of late.

HA! The line about Sting making fun of Kevin's hat just cracked me up.
And aw, you kind of just want to hug him after "I’m doing the best I can, you know?”
Author's Response: Thanks so much for your reivew. I usually want to just give Kevin a big hug too.

Oh, this made me laugh. I am totally guilty of assigning magical health points to carrot sticks; as long as I slip a few on my kids' plates, I can rationalize anything else there.
Bonus points for using the "Accidental Refrigerators" dream!!!
Author's Response: You mean carrot sticks don't cancel out Starbucks Latte's with extra whipped cream? I appreciate your reivews! THanks!
Date: April 08, 2007 09:06 pm Title: Interlude -- Kevin (69 Accidental Refrigerators)
Poor Kev. I love the dreams that God sent Kev. I especially like "Sting chides Kevin for playing his songs while dangerously out of shape". I think God should send Kevin dreams that will make him giggle. Who doesn't love it when Kevin giggles?
Author's Response: Awwwww....Kevin giggling is awesome. I should have included that.
Date: April 08, 2007 09:02 pm Title: The Alps of Scranton (or how Jim joined a Cult)
"Hugs don't lie." Can this be our mantra when we get a little down?
Thanks for the backstory, God. (Ooh, it's like Lost now, with backstories! The Scranton people are the Tailies.)
I'm enjoying this.
Date: April 08, 2007 08:52 pm Title: Interlude -- Kevin (69 Accidental Refrigerators)
Aww Kevin...this was just great. I love that you're including the smaller characters in this too. Maybe next you could try Jan; I have a feeling she talks to God a lot now that's she's with Michael :)
Author's Response: Thanks for the great idea. I've been wondering who to work in next. I think Jan will be next after I finish the segment I'm writing for Benihana XMas. Thanks for your reviews. I really enjoy your stuff, so it means a lot getting a plus review from you.

WAHOO! 69 Accidental Refrigerators! Yeay!
I am totally loving this whole story. Keep going! It rocks my world!
Author's Response: Thanks! Glad you like it!

Oh, I love the Maria/Baroness comparison, and how well it works for the P/J/K triangle. And Henk was an idiot and a jerk!
I was also very amused by the thought of Jim in a cult, but aw, poor guy, upon reading the rest of the story.
And I really liked your interpretation of their thoughts in the Parking Lot of Doom scene.
Author's Response: Thanks! I really appreciate your comments because I was wary of veering away from canon and what we know for sure. I just had this vision of Pam sitting in the Alps a la the Von Trapps and needed to come up with something parallel for Jim.

can i just say how much i love your phrasing. i love schrute it out for you, i love misquoting from michael!
this secret is safe with me... :) i promise i won't tell them that you told.
I liked the backstories. They worked well with the characters.
oops, one accidental < br> tag near the end!
But yeah, I really think those backstories work with the characters and stuff like that.
