I hope one day you'll update this story. It's heartbreaking, amazing, wonderful and so deep. I'm terrible with the words, but you are perfect. Thank you for emotions and tears.

Good but so angsty! Glad to hear it will continue soon.

Wow! This isr eally good. I just read all 4 parts just now. I'm kinda wishing I had waited until you finished because now the suspense is killing me. This is very angsty, but I like it. I think it's funny that Jim thought that he would've protected Pam from Roy, but that she did it for him twice and never got a "thank you." Though I am a JAM fan, I personally think that Pam should move on. she makes me so sad.

Oh, man. How despondent, hopeless, and just plain sad. Thing is, I could totally see it going this way -- well, not on the show because it *is* a comedy, but if this was real life and not a sitcom.
I especially liked the references to 'chick flick moments' because, while I like to read those in fanfic, they rarely happen in real life. So your perspective is a nice change.
I'm very interested in where things go from here, because it surely can't stay this way. Yikes.

this has to be continued asap. I went back and re-read the last few chapters...and wow, it's so deliciously angsty! from jim not being in love with pam anymore (as if!) to how heartbroken he is that karen doesn't even notice his 'devolution'.

Duuuude. *stares at you* I feel like I should trap you in a giant net and put you behind a glass window so I can study you forever and ever, because, my God, how do you do it?!?! That was amazing. Seriously. AMAZING.

I tend to not read stories where the only genre listed in the description is "Angst" but I just got too curious about yours.
I'm really glad I read this. This particular chapter had me in tears at work, so I guess on the angst angle, you are hitting a home run. And the saddest part for me is that when Jim says "I don't know if I'm still in love with you," I can completely understand that AND see him saying/feeling just that in canon.
I think it's really interesting that he can't stop thinking that all of the forward progress he's made this year CAN'T have been a waste, when I'm sure that's the same thing Pam was thinking about the 10 years she spent with Roy -- that it couldn't have all been a waste.
I'm in for the long haul on this fic, JAM. Adding to favorites so I don't miss an update. Great job.

Great chapter. I especially loved the talk on the roof and how Pam repeated Jim's words back to him ("Come on...I don't want to do that. I wanna be more than that.") Looking forward to seeing what happens next!

I'm feeling a little strange, so this is going to be short - but I love this, as usual. It's funny how you'd think Pam isn't as strong as Jim, but if she does make the move, she is certainly as strong, if not stronger - Roy and Pam never looked like they were completely in love, while Jim and Karen still manage to look like they're perfectly fine; Jim and Pam were friends and it looked like Pam could love him too, and now Jim and Pam seem to barely say a few words to each other, and he's cold, stand-offish, a little mean. It's not the same, and if Pam makes a move, it's saying a lot more about her bravery than it did about Jim's last year.
I like that something about this story manages to back that idea up perfectly.
And I loved the confrontation on the roof - how she wasn't afraid to cry, and he wasn't afraid to tell her...and how she said she's not going anywhere.
Gives me some hope after all. ;)
Can't wait, at all, for an update - I loved the first two chapters, and I adored this one, and I know for a fact that therefore I'm going to want to worship subsequent chapters. ;)

this is gloriously angsty wonderfulness and if you don't update this story more quickly I just might scream. I mean this chapter was awesome from the vomiting to the hospital confrontation to the roof, exactly how I would envision it. I don't think Jim deserves her in this, which is my favorite kind because he really needs to be BROKEN before he gets her back and I love jealous!jim, give her someone else and I guarantee he'll be 'in love' with her again quicker than you can snap your fingers. And karen, what an idiot.

Jim? Just so you know, I'm still going to be here. For as long as...well, I'm going to be here.
Really enjoyed this story until just there, I find that very unrealistic and honestly a bit unfortunate as I thought this story was moving along really interestingly.

So intense! I love it. I am actually crying at the end of each chapter. I truly hope Jam get together. They deserve it after these troubles. Update soon please!

Wow, that got intense! Shame on Jim and how he handled this whole situation. Let's hope he turns around and makes it better tomorrow...
FYI, I noticed a couple typos in this, like "face the face" and "a goof half hour"

Continue soon, please! LOVING this!

Holy Crap. this was ... i dont know if I have the words. I actually had tears in my eyes. When Jim said this " You can’t deal with the fact that she’s perfect for me, that you don’t have anything over her, that we might be-"
broke my heart . I do love angst generally much more than I love fluff, but I am hoping that this gets fluffy soon, although i will enjoy the journey.

HOLY CRAP! This was fantastic! I loved every word that Pam said to Jim--she's soooo right and I'm pissed at Jim that he tried to hurt her so badly
I hope he feels like crap for a good long time...and I'm more than a little worried about Pam right now--update soon!!

Oh, wow. I'm not sure if I hate this or love it. I love it for being so well-written, with everyone in character (despite the heightened emotions we so rarely see on the show) and a really unique post-Cocktails scenario. But I kind of hate it b/c I can really see Jim responding to Pam's declaration of love if/when it comes like this ignoring it in favor of focusing on all of the 'progress' he's made. Overall, though, awesome fic and I can't wait to read more.

Ahh! I just read the second chapter! That's not a very well known Lifehouse song....wow...I'm impressed. The story had me in tears it was so good. I loved it.
