I always struggle with cheating stories, but damn if I didn’t root for it to happen in this one. There was especially something I particularly enjoyed about them linking pinkies under the table while Karen sat there at lunch. Really great story. Thank you for this!

Silly Jim, how COULD you ever think you'd love someone else as much as Pam, no way Duh! Hooray! I had to go make sure this said complete! I was fearing another chapter would come along and negate this happy ending (well, happy for all but Karen - not too good for her!).
"he wonders how he ever thought ... he could love someone else as much as he loves Pam." I wonder that too! Stop dating someone else, Jim!
I really enjoyed this story. Interesting how it took a sister's death to give Pam a kick in the pants.

How satisfying is it when Pam finally TELLS Jim how she feels? And hooray for him coming to his senses...can you truly be in love with two people? I don't know...but as you made clear, his feelings for Pam ran so much deeper. And how sweet was the ending? When all he needs is to be with her. Be still my heart.

This is really interesting, especially how it seemed it was goodbye, but then they don't stop. This line "Finally, he finds himself in Pam's bed any night when he would have been home alone" really says it all!

I always wonder when I read stories like this what Jim's thinking -- like, in Hey, Jealousy when he still hadn't broken up with Karen -- I wonder to myself, Why? This is not a criticism about your decision to write him like this --- I think there's a side of Jim in which I think he could be like that, but I don't like it. I don't like it because I feel it's very cowardly for him to act like that. If he really wants to be with Pam, he shouldn't be sneaking around with Karen, regardless of his fear of Pam's rejection. In any case, I'm totally interested to see what Jim does. I really hope he's finally straightforward and honest, but something tells me he's going to waffle around the truth. Can't wait to see!

Okay, you've got me going too...glad Karen is catching on - what woman wouldn't? There's something surprisingly hot about the misguided 'casual sex to get it out of their systems' premise - and you've used it so well here. Looking forward to seeing where you take this - seems pretty clear that he feels more intensely for Pam, but, alas in fanfic, I know it's rarely that simple (or is it?)

I really love the thought of Pam's confession coming in the rain. I love rain, and I think it is like, the most romantic scene. Walking in the rain, running in the rain, kissing in the rain, confessing love in the rain, even just jumping in rain puddles.
Poor Pam!! That has to be heartbreaking. I really kinda have the urge to call up my brother and say I love him. Because, I don't know when the last time I told him was (probably like Pam, only when we were forced to do it because we were mean to each other). Normally I just avoid talking to him at all costs. But he isn't a bad guy. He can be sweet and somewhat normal. Thats it. After this, I am calling him up and saying I love him (or he doesn't suck as a brother, either one, they are the same right).
And I think that would be the perfect catalyst for what happened between them, and I can even imagine Jim saying that he couldn't do it. Even though I want to smack him for it.
