This break-up was the nicest break-up of all the break-ups. I really like how you've written Karen; it's exactly the way I think of her. Well done!

when I let you go so you can pursue her at last, if you fail to do so, I will kick your skinny ass.
Go Karen!!! Tell it, sistah!
I am so up to that challenge. Sea monster’s been wanting to hit this for months.
Wow. Karen and ... Lonny? Let me think about that for a second...no. But funny.
And a sad but relieved ending. I love how you let Karen end things with class and humor. You didn't make her a bitch. Thank you! Wonderful story.
Author's Response: Hee. Yeah, the Karen/Lonny thing is improbable, but that makes it funny. I just couldn't resist after Kelly gave him that hilarious nickname!

There would be a conversation tonight. Oh yes, there would definitely be a conversation.
*wince* Poor Jim.
I love them making MySpace accounts for one another.
Date: April 19, 2007 01:32 am Title: Joke's on you
I was going to quote a bunch of lines here and say how much I admired them, but that would be dissecting perfection. This is a seamless whole, complete and hilarious. I loved every word. I rarely actually sit at my computer and chuckle the way I did at this. I have not read so perfect a Jim or Karen in a long time. Kudos for a job well done. Can't wait to read more!
Author's Response: Gah! I have melted from your awesome review. Thank you so much!

Oh, this is so much fun... looking forward to seeing what TheSecretOfJimh and killerbeesly [great user names, BTW] come up with next!

this story is too fun! more! more!
Date: April 18, 2007 08:34 pm Title: It's never simultaneous in real life
Ooh, I can't wait for the next chapter! I love this story so much!
Author's Response: Thank you! I'll update as soon as I can. Weirdly enough, I'm having a really hard time coming up with the right user name for Pam's MySpace page. Other than that, it's going great--hope to update tomorrow night.
Date: April 18, 2007 06:09 pm Title: Joke's on you
Hey, I've been reading fics on this site for a long time without ever registering, but this story forced me to register just so I could tell you how adorable Pam's myspace blog prank was. "My heart is all aflutter"....very funny! I can't wait to read the next chapter.
Author's Response: Wow, that is just...wow! Thank you so much!
Date: April 18, 2007 04:42 pm Title: It's never simultaneous in real life
OK, Karen officially rocks. And Jim and Pam keeping blogs on each other's behalf is such a unique and fun idea! Can't wait to see what they wrote...
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! I like Karen, too. Just not as Jim's girlfriend. :)
Date: April 18, 2007 04:42 pm Title: It's never simultaneous in real life
The cute flip had enjoyed a long and successful heyday, but, secretly, Pam had a weakness for a nice back-of-the-neck, and Jim’s was becoming obscured. And that was just unacceptable.
This sent me into serious giggles there. xD
Author's Response: It's me striking back against BadWig!Jim. ;)
Date: April 18, 2007 01:22 pm Title: It's never simultaneous in real life
Boo-yah! Nice double hat trick there! I'm not sure what that means, but I'm loving this anyway. I can't wait for more!
Author's Response: Bah ha ha ha ha! Well, I think a hat trick is when you get three bulls eyes in a row. So that's cool.
Date: April 18, 2007 01:18 pm Title: You always paid for dinner
Ha! I LOVE your dialog - pitch perfect between all of them! But my favorite so far has got to be Hey, don’t be sorry for everything. You did always pay for dinner.
Author's Response: Thanks! I thought that sounded like a Karen thing to say. :)
Date: April 18, 2007 12:58 pm Title: You always paid for dinner
*loves* Your Karen is beyond awesome. I loved this- so sad and yet so funny, this line in particular: “You know, seeing you across a crowded office, day in, day out, knowing I can never have you…”
Hehe! The irony....I really hope something like this happens on the show, b/c Karen really is too cool for Jim and deserves to be with someone who appreciates her more, and I'd love for her to be the one to acknowledge that.
Author's Response: Wouldn't it be great if that did happen on the show? Well, we can hope and pray. And maybe bribe? I'll start taking up a collection.
Date: April 18, 2007 12:52 pm Title: She thinks I'm cute
The cuteness of this chapter is unparalleled. Your Jim/Pam interactions are just as good as your Jim/Karen ones. Speaking of Karen, I think you write her better than almost any other fanfic writer. She's sassy and funny and smart, but she's also kind of insecure and needy. She's very 3-D, here, and it all matches up with the little bits and pieces we know about her from the show. Kudos on the great characterization.
Author's Response: OMG, that is so nice of you to say! I've been kind of worried about Karen's characterization because I've missed quite a few season 3 episodes, so I haven't seen as much of her as a lot of other writers. So that makes me quite relieved!
Date: April 18, 2007 12:48 pm Title: Percussive maintenance
The M&Ms line is *so* Jim. Continuing to love this story.
Author's Response: Hee. I thought so, too. :)
Date: April 18, 2007 12:46 pm Title: Joke's on you
This story, ftw. Seriously! I love the Jim/Karen banter, and Karen's directness. And this: “I can’t.” How many questions could be answered with that phrase?
Sooo good. Can't wait to read more.
Author's Response: Thanks, Rowena!
Date: April 18, 2007 11:25 am Title: It's never simultaneous in real life
I love this. So original and fun to read. *hands out Dundie for best use of MySpace*
Author's Response: SQUEE! I feel God in this Chili's.
Date: April 18, 2007 08:36 am Title: It's never simultaneous in real life
I can't believe I haven't reviewed this yet! I really love the flow. I'm a fan of Karen not being crazy, and nudging Jim toward Pam (even if we'll never see it on the show.) I like the sort of playfulness in this chapter, with the dual blogs (even though we don't know what's in them yet.) Anyway, I love it and can't wait for the next update!
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you're enjoying it. And *I* know what's in the blogs, so you'll know soon, too. :)
