my neighbors always joke that they are paying me to take birth control by babysitting. because sometimes, spending hours and hours and hours and hours with the same kids day in day out really is like birth control.
Author's Response:
Well, babysitting can certainly be discouraging:) I know I lose patience with my cousin's daughter after quarter of an hour:D But I think it's different with your own kids:)

I love the fact that Jan is five!
I always loved dolls when I was little. Stuffed animals were not as fun.
Author's Response: Haha:) Well, Jan is a mystery, but I'm pretty sure she was at some point in her life;)

That was cute. Such a seventeen year old! And a little bit familiar since I was vehemently anti-kid for most of my life (and of course now I have an almost 2 year old...). Good mother-daughter dialogue.
Author's Response: Thanks:) Yeah, I think we all go through anti-kids phases:)

I'm really enjoying this, I can't wait for more. I like your Jan very much, and am very curious about the other scenarios!
Author's Response: Thank you:) I'm working on them:)

I am really enjoying a Jan-focused story. Looking forward to the rest of it. :)
Author's Response: Thank you:)

I really like this one. Jan's mom knows what she's talking about! Especially this: "her vision of adulthood will change at least ten times in the next few years".
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. I think a lot of girls go through an anti-kids phase in their late teens (I know I did!), but then their opinions on this and many other matters change - so that's why I wrote a teenage!Jan chapter.

Ooooo... Great start! Have you already linked this in the Michael/Jan thread? The ladies there want some more Jan and/or Michael fanfic!
Author's Response: I was going to wait until itwas finished, but I now I just saw your rec in that thread... Thank you! And thank you for the review, too:)

Author's Response: Yeppers:) It's destiny:D Thanks for the review:)

I love Jan stories--and I love the line "...fearing that Jan is not beyond resorting to kidnapping." Can't wait for the rest! :-)
Author's Response: Aw, thanks:) The story is pretty short, so expect an update soon:)

Aww cute. Is that meant to mirror Michael's 100 kids thingy? :D
Author's Response: Yes, it was, I just hope it wasn't as pathetic:D

Oh wow. Chills. Such perfect parallels to both adult Jan and Michael Scott himself! Can't wait to see where you're going with this.
Author's Response: Thank you:) I hope you won't be disappointed with the next chapters:)

Oooh, the "hundred kids" idea resurfaces, this time from a defiant little Jan. I like the beginning of this.
Author's Response: Thanks:) Yeah, I went with a little parallel, I hope it wasn't too much;)
