aw, the title really does fit it. I like these characters, and I love the way Jim interacts with Samantha.

Luvvved it. I enjoyed Nick and Samantha and it's easy to imagine Jim having that kind of friendship. The dialogue was well done. What I like most, though, is the whole theme...Jim having a litle epiphany by witnessing real love. I would love it if the actual show took that route. It would be interesting to listen to Jim's thoughts as he drove home. While I'm gushing, the writing itself is superb, the tone is perfect and not a word out of place.
Author's Response: Wow, thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

Even though you already know my thoughts on this, I'll leave them here, all official-like. Can't have too many reviews, right? :)
This version is so much stronger than the first draft. Not that the first draft was bad by any means--it just needed a wee bit of tightening. And it turned out wonderfully. It's nice to see sides of Jim that we don't get to see on the show itself, and it's especially nice to get a glimpse into his past.
And isn't it ironic how the two most influential women in his life have such similar names? (Sam and Pam?) That's a nice touch. :)
Author's Response:
Oh...yes...of course, I did that on purpose *cough*
Thanks for leaving your kind thoughts here too :) Can't wait to see your updated stuff this weekend!

first off, rain doesn't make you happy? i love rain. i love walking in rain, playing in rain. i love rain. but i guess since you don't I will leave a review. because I loved it. it was so cool. jim don't settle. i like how it shows friendship. it hints at jim/pam, but not really and its only light. but it is great. um, yeah. i dunno what else to say because words aren't being my friend today, but i like it!
Author's Response: Rain just makes life a lot harder...the bottom of your jeans get wet, I've slipped on more than one occasion and it makes traffic suck even more than it already does. But thank you for reviewing and I'm really glad you liked this!
