The Halpert/Beesly competive spirit! v. nice. And I would hurt Paul for hurting dear sweet Jim....

I love this story so much. I can really imagine Pam wanting them to go to counseling at the first sign of trouble, b/c they both waited so long for this relationship and neither wants it to ever end. I love the jealousy over the exes, and their lists in the last chapter were excellent- a great miz of minor complaints and genuine concerns that suit their characters perfectly. And don't even get me started on how spot-on the Jam interactions are! I think I love this chapter the best, though, b/c it seems oddly reminiscent of Casino night- Jim doesn't get the answer he wants right away and he has to leave. It's a frustrating character trait and I'm glad you're addressing it. Can't wait to see where this story goes!

Awsome! Did not see the Jell-o prank coming at the end, but that was classic. Great to see they will never lose their sense of humor. And I absolutely love the dogs name...perfect. I am really enjoying this story so much that I have to say "Thank You' for writing it.

Wow, is the best word for this chapter. No matter how bad the fight, they still love each other so much. Great job with the writing. The exchange betweeen the is so in character. Please continue.

Ha! I love them pranking the doc!
And I totally guffawed when they said they'd gotten a cocker spaniel, because in the last chapter of my last fic, I had Pam promise Jim they didn't have to get one. Hee! That killed me!

Aw that was sad, but sweet. I love how realistic everything feels, and how it seems plausible that they would have conflicting views over having children. You can still see that they completely love each other though. Please write more!

This is such a great approach! I'm really liking this story...from the point of view of the therapist is a great idea.
Please please PLEASE write some more...and throw in some Jammy goodness ok? :)

This story is breaking my heart, in the absolute best way. I am looking forward to more fighting because I know that they'll make up eventually ;)

I adore this story. Seeing Jim and Pam's future relationship through someone elses eyes is interesting - not to mention I love how you can still see how much they adore one another - even when things aren't bright and sunny. Can't wait to see what else you have in store!

Aww! I thought I might not like this chapter as much because you said it was going to be rocky, but I found it all really sweet. I'm loving the doc in this. This line was so great:
"Well, she had to say ‘I do' once, right? Why don't you focus on that time?"
Exactly, doc!!

This is really fun. At first I was hesitant to believe Jim and Pam would ever need marriage counseling...and then I felt like a voyeur, and then I just sat back and started enjoying what they were saying about each other, and now it seems I'm good with it. ;)
Really enjoying the story!
Author's Response: I can understand being hesitant, I was about writing this. I didn't want to make them seem like they should consider divorce, but I didn't want them up in counseling yammering about their perfection either. So the great feedback you guys are giving me helps me pick their situations and their conversations, and map out what to have them do next. Thanks sooooo much for reading!

Aww, I love that their lists at first caused arguments, but in the end you could tell how much they really love each other! I can't wait to read the next chapter! This story seems realistic and shows how much they need to just get together already on the show!!
Author's Response: I'm soooo ready for them to be together! Every week I'm like growling at my TV wishing one of them would do something. So I had to turn to fanfic to make me feel better about it...lol. Glad you are enjoying it.

Wow, this is such a cute idea! It is also really funny to read. My favorite line was when Jim said "What?! I thought we were in some sort of trust bubble in here. Am I not in the bubble? Is there no bubble?"....I laughed out loud, i thought it was hilarious. I also thought the end was so sweet when the counseler talks about how they comunicate so well with no words. I really loved this!!
Author's Response:
I loved that line too. I'm trying my best to put in humor even a potential angsty situation such as marriage counseling. My goal is to give them a good mix of both. Glad you enjoy!

I like soggy cereal and LOVE Happy Feet too! (And, yeah, I'm told I snore... but I'm still denying it.) I'm just like Pam! Does that mean I get my very own Jim?
Author's Response: LOL. I want my own Jim too. **Sigh** Maybe we can buy one on Ebay?

Very interesting...I like seeing Pam & Jim have normal problems, that not everything will be perfect once they get together. I'm looking forward to seeing their lists. =)
Author's Response: Exactly. I love JAM fanfic but sometimes, I don't expect their relationship to ever be an all out love fest. I hope WHEN they do get together the writers stay with that and keep them as real as possible.

WOW, this was absolutely amazing. I really like the concept of this story. Great job with the dialog. It was perfect because everyone has their set of problems, even a couple so perfect for each other. Just great. Hope to see more.
Author's Response:
Thanks!! And to think at first I was hesitant about writing it!! I'm trying to keep it as real as possible, but also add that JAm flair we all fell in love with. That's why I love The Office, because I can see myself in Pam and I can see a guy like Jim, so it isn't to far fetched to write.

This was really entertaining and interesting. Great dialog and characterizations!
It was great to hear their point of view of the relationship, as well as hear them acknowledging their problems with communication and insecurities. I like that the story is told from the counselor's point of view. Can't wait for an update.
Author's Response:
Thank you for the compliments. I try to stay in character, god knows I watch the DVDs practically all the time. I love the counselor's part because having it out the eyes of someone who can't see what their thinking and basing their assumptions of JAM purely off of their body language and words is a fun concept. Keeps it real.
Date: April 26, 2007 01:07 pm Title: The Trust Bubble
Aw, I like this :) These are such believable, normal, not serious problems for them to have, but it's nice to see that they're so concerned about fixing it and having the best, strongest relationship they possibly can.
Author's Response: Thank you! And thats just it, I want it to be as realistic as possible. I didn't want every chapter to be full of angst or extreme fluff because that isn't realistic all the time. Glad you enjoy!

so good!! i thought it was gonna be wierd but its really awesome. i like it a lot
Author's Response: Thank you!! I'll try to keep it interesting and as real as possible.

Really great idea, and very interesting. I was intrigued by your take because I actually would have imagined almost the opposite...I think Pam would tend to be fine with arguing and see it as normal whereas Jim would be bothered by it. Of course I'm probably projecting from my own experiences.
Author's Response:
I can totally see your perspective, I don't think Pam would enjoy arguing and I think Jim would. Jim would kind of fight for what he wants I think where as Pam wouldn't because she's afraid she would lose Jim if she said the wrong thing. I do remember she stood up to Roy a few times (in the parking lot at Chili's and in season 3) but most of the time when Roy did something she didn't like, she didn't have much to say. But I'm going to try to bring the argumentative side of Pam out a bit, I think she can be a fighter sometimes too. =-) Thanks for your imput!

Yeah, I too see trouble for them because of their communication issues and tendency to get defensive and shut down on both sides. Hits a little too close to home! I'd love to see how this goes...
Author's Response:
Thanks! And that's why I think they would need to go to counseling, they are sooo good for each other, but they each have traits about them that have them hide their feelings or they communicate the wrong way. I hope you continue enjoying this story!
Date: April 26, 2007 07:21 am Title: The Trust Bubble
I like this premise...an original way to let us hear what those two think about their relationship. And also to explore some of the less than perfect parts. Looking forward to more!

I love to see more of this! :-)
Date: April 26, 2007 06:23 am Title: The Trust Bubble
This is a really interesting idea because I think most people think when Jim and Pam get together (eventually) everything will be perfect. But even the best relationships have problems. I am intrigued. Looking forward to the next session. Oh, and "horn dog" - he he!
