GUH!!!! I love this story! (I just read all 5 chapters...hee!)
I love the hotel story in chapter 2 (3?) about the shower being over the toilet. I studied abroad in France a couple of years ago and then traveled in Italy for a couple of weeks afterwards and I swear every. single. hotel that we stayed at where we had a "private bath" (i.e. in the room, of course) the shower was just a little shower head sticking out of the wall near the sink, or the toilet. Haha, talk about a wet bathroom! :) So I just had to say I enjoyed that little tidbit.
And my goodness!!! You have me on edge throughout all of the chapters! Like, will they run into each other? Won't they? Why don't they see each other at the same time?!? :) Haha.
I'm hanging onto every last word of this story! I absolutely love it! And I'll be really looking forward to your updates!

It isn't too often that I am totally addicted to a fic, but here it is. I'm hooked. Like an addict I get to the end and need another fix, like NOW.
Seriously, this is beautifully done. I loved the imagery of Pam sketching herself throwing the coins and the emails are terrific. Way to build and I can't wait to read more.

This fic is awesome! I was a little bit hesitant, purely because I wasnt so sure how much I could enjoy a story with a setting far away from Scranton but I have to say, Im really enjoying this fic. The way you write Jim and Pam is so organic and true! Eagerly anticipating for more!

the Trevi Fountain! Such fond memories there... definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Rome (I found Florence to be more my speed, but Rome was beautiful as well... but I definitely agree with the awful hotel accomodations!) just wanted to tell you how much I am enjoying this story and anxiously awaiting more. Bellisimo!
Author's Response: Isn't Trevi Fountain so awesome??!! The only thing I didn't like about it is the insane amount of people that are there. Ugh. When I was in Florence (this is going back maybe 10 years) there was a big political protest (apparently unions are always striking there) and I was a tad scared of it... add that while waiting outside the Uffizi Gallery a gypsy woman threw her kid at a tourist to try and rob her- not exactly fun times. But the art work in Florence was amazing. I'm so glad to hear that you think my portrayal of Rome is well done- thank you so much for reading and reviewing. :)

I just love the way you're weaving this story. When Jim sees Pam, I love that we know he's sent her a message, but like Pam, we don't know what it says.
And all the Rome details are so fun.
This is definitely my number 1 obsession right now. Can't wait for the next installment!

Is there a way to visit the popular tourist destinations without the other tourists? everywhere I go its so crowded and its like... aww, no fun. Oh well. I guess if you were majorly rich you could pay to have everyone else leave you alone. But heck, I can't even pay to have my doggy leave me alone.
I almost forgot that Pam was there on a job... I thought her whole purpose was to make Jim refall in love with her. Okay, not really, but I did almost forget that aspect of the storyline. But then I remember. And all was well.
Again, I love the way you write artist Pam. its so artistic even in writing.
And I bet those two coins do the trick... :)

Yes, I don't think I would know how to respond to that. Its like, I mean, nothing like that, but there are times, when there are so many thoughts racing though your head you just can't type anything. is it bad that it often happens when I am doing something stupid such as writing my away message or setting my status on facebook? although maybe its because i am trying to say so much in so little. wow, a bit philosphical for a review now.
Jim... Jim sees Pam.... I would scream for happiness, but honestly, I don't want to have to explain to my mom why I am screaming... but screaming in my head... totally.
Wow... yep.... this is just great, and wow .... I can't wait for more of this. I want to know how Jim responds and what now that Jim saw her and my fingers are doing that weird thing where i am so excited and they just have a life of their own... but they arne't typing, they are just dancing. haha. i sound strange.

LOL Seriously though- there's a law in Rome that says no street can be closed for any reason, so Hollywood is forced to work at the crack of dawn to avoid the tourist crowds getting into their shots. I had mtt on all weekend and every couple of hours i would refresh to see if you had posted yet...and finally i gave up and then i came during last few mintues of work..and here it was! and so totally worth the wait! i hope the wait isn't as long next time though...sigh..i lOVED it. yay for speaking up pam! and jim! and poor karen. is it bad that i kind of like her...she isn't a horrible person like she is in some fanfictions...

I am so freaking hooked on this story, I wish you could update as fast as I can read it! Were they in the same cafe and didn't see each other? Will Jim see Pam before he proposes? Although, he seems to be losing his enthusiasm all of a sudden. You're killing me here, you know that, right?
Author's Response: Thanks so much for the review! Nope, they weren't in the same cafe. Pam's internet cafe is located in Western Rome and Jim's is more in the Eastern part- by the Spanish Steps.
