I finshed reading all the chapters last night (: Love it so far! I wonder where Karen is when all this is happening. Is she still in Rome?
Author's Response: I'm glad you're loving it. As for Karen... good question. For me she took the hotel room they were just given (hense why Jim moved to La Griffe)- I suppose she finished out her vacation there and returned to Scranton. I sort of left it to the reader to conclude where she went and what she might have done. But she's definitely not going to be lurking in the shadows from here on out... ;-) Thanks so much for the awesome review!

Aaaagh!!! I loved the cliffhanger, but whoa! Anyway, I just have to say I've been listening to that Lifehouse song A LOT lately, so I was excited to see you reference it. Nice job on the whole chapter.
I'm so excited/sad for the end. I can't wait to see what happens, but I don't want it to be over. Are you sure you don't want to write 50 more chapters about Jim and Pam deciding to just run away into the Italian countryside? Maybe backpack around Europe? Take the long way home to Scranton? Cuz I'd totally read all that. ;)

Isn't that Lifehouse song amazing?!! Try out the recent Goo Goo Dolls album as well. There's not a crappy song on that album and quite a few Jam songs on it as well (including the "Let Love In" one featured in that YouTube promo) I'm totally dreading the end of this fic... really. It's been such a wild and amazing ride and everyone has been so incredibly supportive- truly it's been a blessing. You might be on to something in terms of the fic idea... perhaps in the future... ;-) Thanks so much for reading and reviewing, I love hearing from readers.

I just want to tell you what a wonderful story you've written and shared with us all. I have been loving every chapter and looking foward to the next.
Such a romantic setting. I've never been to Italy, so I'm enjoying your vivid descriptions and links at the ends of chapters.
I don't know Italian, but I guessed that phrase correctly. When Pam figured it out, my heart was pounding, imagining how she felt. And the whole scene at the end was just so heartfelt and sincere and what a cliffhanger!
Eagerly awaiting the next installment!

Oh, this is so good. SO GOOD. So help me, though, if this ends with him sitting alone in a car, adam's apple bobbing against tears, while she disappears around a corner to go back to her real life, I will be MOST unhappy. (I loooove Roman Holiday but it makes me cry every time!).

And I don't know that Lifehouse Song... but I know their other songs. And in fact, I just listened to Trying. Yep. *nods very seriously* Yep I did.
So my face did a :O and then a happy smile and then a teary eyed happy smile (dammit, why is everything making me teary eyed!).
No Pam, it isn't a mistake or anything. Jim meant it, no, don't be sad!!!!!!!! (I added the extra exclaimation points in an effort to really get the point across to Pam. Those extra helped translate it from a review into Pam's head... something like that)
In an odd way, Jim's thought about two people avoiding finding each other across the world... anyways, so, in 9th grade, no, summer after 10th... I was at nerd camp. and the first day, we did this stupid little "make a map of the US with where you are from thing" and so, I found all the other people from my state. and then we were like, okay, what cities are you near. and then the people from certain cities got together. and then we were like, okay where exactly are you. and then we were like, whoa same town. wait, like a mile from the mall? freaky. and we became really good friends. but of course, we had to drive 6 hours away to nerd camp to meet each other.
I love how Jim realized when he saw her dancing. It is so sweet and so Jim and I can totally picture it.
Its such cute little Jim/Pam banter with the mouth - the expendable fingers and what not.
And Jim playing soccer - oh yeah. I would love that. In fact, if I ever meet JK, I am totally going to challenge him. Because I could kick his ass. And no idea why I want to do that, but I totally would.
Them with their hands in their mouth was just so its like it was what they needed to say, and still so heartbreaking.

I don't even know how to put into words my reaction to that line. I guess Jim knows what I am talking about.
I can't wait for the next chapter, all 10+ pages of it.

I am so excited everytime I see a new chapter of this story. The snowy flower petals, Pam dancing, its all so beautiful. On a side note, I can't believe Karen put on the ring! Seriously, how rude. I guess I might have done that but only if I was sure Jim wasn't going to return for a while. Then I would've put it back EXACTLY where I found it. Of course that would've prolonged the whole Karim thing so I'm glad she put it on. Anyway, awesome work yet again and I really hope you update this soon, like now please.
