Aw. Pam keeping The Teapot as a centerpiece, still filled with his gifts...so sweet. So Pam. Like her keeping the yogurt lid medal. Who would imagine something so small and insignificant would be the turning point in a romance? And then the flat tire, and Pam offering to change it (hee!)...just such a sweet story. Thanks.

Needless to say, this was the most wonderful chapter. And this was the most wonderful line in this chapter - "Pam really was everything….and “everything” turned out to be a lot easier and a lot more fun than he could have ever imagined."

You did an amazing job showing how Karen was just not right for Jim. Everything rang so true. I loved this - "He also learned that the final expectation was that he would leave what he knew and become That Guy with total finality…or it was the end of the road. And that expectation turned out to feel less suffocating than he might have otherwise expected. It actually felt more like a ticket to freedom, a roadmap back to where he had left himself almost a year ago."

Aw! I am a large messy gooey puddle of...goo! This is so great. SO GREAT! Maybe I'm Jim... well, in any case, I really relate. I love that last paragraph, in any case. The lady in the best marriage I have ever seen said to me "My husband isn't this perfect man or anything. He's just the perfect man for me!" Which is just so, so right, ya know? Just like this fic :)

Oh, this was great! And the Pam payoff was just perfect, because all those other girls were just stupid. It was very cute, and I really enjoyed it, regardless of how much I wanted to beat up those four other girls. ;)

Author's Response: Now, Kel, how could we judge? I don't think Karen's a villain, nor did I mean to portray her as such. It's good she has expectations....but I think any time she spent looking for Jim to fulfill them was wasted time. He was The Wrong Boy For Her, and vice versa. Now she (and you) can go and find a more compatible dude. Or "boy toy" if you prefer. Or "slampiece," even. Whatever. ;)

Awww...this was adorable. I loved how Jim wanted it to be perfect and that Pam couldn't hide her enthusiasm. Absolutely lovely end to the story. I'm glad Jim is finally happy (Pam too) and not way over his head. =)

I absolutely LOVE that he just blurts out a confession of love and then freaks out. Fantastic! I can see the first date going like this. You have them both very in character and adorkable.
