While I will admit I don't love that the inciting incident of Pam and Roy splitting is Roy standing up for workers' rights (sorry to get political on you), the consequences are realistic for an already flawed relationship, and this AU is just so well developed.

Kyrafic, first, allow me to apologize for not reading and reviewing this story sooner. Truth be told, I was kinda put off by the title initially. Well, not put off, it just didn't grab me. Silly me! What's that expression about books and covers? ; )
This was such a treat. I enjoyed reading it from start to finish. I could have kept on reading it if you kept on writing. You perfectly captured the essence of these characters. The rooftop confession made my heart skip a beat. Great job.

Guh. This is so true to the characters- that Jim and Pam would be kind of in disbelief that everything is working out. She doesn't say what she's thinking, how that was almost them, how they would have just been stories about old coworkers. Their lives going on and on, just like everyone else's is right now. Wonderful!! I love the bit about Creed...he's so mysteriou...and weird! Haha! I also loved the part ""I'll call you tomorrow," he says for the third time". That was cute. Almost like he can't believe it's happening and trying to reasure himself it's real, and some nervousness, too!

Ahhhh! You totally captured that weird, surreal giddiness about them finally realizing it's okay for them to be together. I love it! It's totally making me think about what happened in the finale this season and I totally want that feeling to be palpable when we get to see them again. (I don't know if it will, but I want it - I love this feeling!)
My favorite part about this chapter was Jim's line: "Can you stop the car?" Because, yes. Why are they still driving? This needs to be real and oh my God, suddenly it is real and wow.
I also liked how Pam was feeling kind of sick as she's trying to get the words out; I know I would be very nervous if I was her. Awesome job!!!

Great story, I have been enjoying this story for awhile. I love stories that deal w/ the characters when there is no more DM. Because in my world even without DM, Pam and Jim their way back to each other.

Aw, this was a sweet ending for Jim/Pam, believable and honest, giving them time to take a break from each other, sort themselves out, and find there way back. I am, however, still kind of devastated over the fall of Dunder Mifflin and the lack of certainty in everyone's futures, so if there's more, I hope it's an epilogue where everyone gets a new job, Scrantonicity gets a record deal, Dwight/Angela get married, Michael moves in with Jan, and everyone agrees to keep in touch and have weekly meetings to watch themselves on TV in the fall! ;) Or maybe that's asking a bit much...

Finally had a chance to catch up on this - it's still so good. I love how such a strong sense of the characters is conjured so simply, without making them simple (e.g., Roy isn't the usual big oaf from central casting.) And this last chapter tugged the heartstrings in such an understated way. Lovely.
