Rereading this off the ebook download and I still love it. I especially like that there's no reason it can't still be canon-compliant; since Pam's glimpse is its own AU where she didn't stay WIT H Roy after Cugino's, the fact that it conflicts with later seasons' versions of their family isn't a problem.

I really, really enjoyed this story. And I think that you should write another AU type of story. The stuff that Pam and Jim experienced, that we weren't able to really get in this story. Them meeting each other, Roy coming to Cugino's, Pam breaking up with him, Jim waiting a few weeks to ask her out, getting married, etc.
I think you are very talented and would make that into a great story. Just my two cents.

Lovely! I think I was hoping for a Jim/Pam happy ending, but this is actually the perfect way to end it - Pam realizing what she has versus what she could have, and deciding to change her life instead of standing idly by. Awesome.

I think the end is very fitting. The panic is just like when she wakes up in her house with Jim, but sadder and scarier, since it is her real, and unhappy life. Nice work. I really enjoyed it!

i like that you ended it with her leaving Roy. I sort of knew that's where it'd be going eventually. I mean, it had to right? because at least now she knows what she can have. i love that this was the inspiration and i love the description of her waking up to the familiar and unwanted. great job :)

Oh, but will she wake up still here, or will her glimpse be over and then she'll have to figure out how to make things right back in her own world? Going to sleep in these sorts of things is always dangerous. I loved seeing her get some more of those memories, and hearing Jim fill in some of the blanks of how things turned out differently.
