........is it bad that i want to push that kid down a slide?
Author's Response: No. In fact, I encourage that behavior!

I LOVED this! I love the short simple stories like this that are still so powerful, nicely done. And Jim's voice, yum, I know exactly what you mean by his voice having that affect, I love JKras' voice, it's just wonderful...and now I am rambling, sorry :)
Author's Response: Wow, thanks for the review. :D Makes me smile to get a review on an older story, and besides, this is a great review. And yeah, trust me. The amount of sound clips from JK/Jim... well, I certainly love his voice also! ;)

This deserves the ribbon it got! So sweet! Love it!
Author's Response: Thanks so much. Oh yeah, that ribbon means the WORLD to me.

Um, I love your fic! That last part with the vows brought a tear to my eye, I have to say. Loverly!
Author's Response: Aww, thanks. That is so sweet. I am glad you enjoyed :)

SWEET!!! aww! i have a HUGE grin on my face right now. I was expecting Jim, but not expecting this. it's short and simple, but says SO much. i get it you know? how he can say such a simple thing and it just be everything.anyway, it's lovely. :)
Author's Response:
Aww, I am so glad I made you smile (yeah, ultimate compliment). Yes. I totally understand. Its so like, gah, he is so perfect, and he can just convey all this emotion and everything.
Thanks again!

i knew as soon as i read the name of this that Michael would be on the list, but you outdid yourself. i really love the interview. you wrote Michael very well.
Author's Response: Michael could make everyone hate their name. Thanks for saying I wrote him well though, that means a lot. He is so challenging to write. And so much of that comes from the amazing people who helped me think of Pam-names, because, yeah, I didn't come up with anything good.

What a great idea! I have a traumatic story of a bully and a teacher who wouldn't listen to me, so I'm really feeling Pam on this one :)
Author's Response: Adults are just mean when they don't listen. I know, I am probably guilty of this. I mean, just yesterday, C was crying in the car, saying J hit her, J said he barely touched her. I just told them to behave, because I was driving. So, who knows, I could have scared C for life.

Such a cute story! I didnt have a chance to get to it until tonight...it's great. Very sweet and a cute take. I love the idea. So...well done, my friend, well done.
-Oh, I'm starting to work on SL again and I totally deleted that email of your dream guy (not Jim, Jessica!). So, you should totally email me that list of things that you picture your dude being like...oh, and the names. :) I'm putting you to work since you slandered my name in your fic! JK!!! Totally joking. I'm honored!
Author's Response:
Hehe, I am so glad you read... I thought of it forever ago, and just wrote it down, and I so love the response!!
Fine, if I can't have Jim, I will just email you again!

I would like to think that you named this girl after me...but, I'm totally not like Becka...I'm more of Pam in this situation. Having a name like Becky Sue isn't cool where I live...so, you know, I feel Pam. (When I was in kindergarten, I thought my mom had named me Rebecca Zoo...instead of Sue, and I threw a fit in class one day...then when I got home, my mom explained to me that it was Sue and not Zoo.) hehe.
So....I would like to think you named this girl in my honor (as I have done in SL for you) so...thanks. Oh, and I wish I was tall and popular...but those are just dreams, right?
Author's Response: Nope. I just stole your name. I totally can't believe that you were a tall biatch in MS or anything like that. The worst that anyone ever messed up my name was Jennifer Humper. Yeah, that joke lasted the rest of the year...

Oh, such a romantic ending. Those wedding vows are beautiful, especially "My one true love". But would you really consider wedding vows to be "those fateful words" ?
Author's Response:
thank google for the vows. yes. i really did google wedding vows. and, true... fateful isn't really the best word... okay, my vocabulary sucks. i admit it
thanks for all the reviews!

What made me smile in this one was- "(her mom kept squealing, “Oh you two look so cute!”) That's the same thing I said to my daughter and her date! (And I bet the same thing your Mom said to you!)
Author's Response: yep....parents can be so annoying. started from the second i mentioned prom. and then buying the dress, and getting ready. yeah, i was pretty sick of it :)

Poor Pam. Girls can be so mean! I hope she runs into those biotches one day when she's with Jim and wearing that hot red blouse - that'll show them.
Author's Response: can i say thats totally what i want to do. its like, find a hot boyfriend, and just rub it in those annoying peoples faces....

This takes me back to my childhood, I once hit my sister in the arm, not hard at all, and she used her other hand to squeeze that part of her arm so that by the time she showed our mother it was bright red and looked like I had really slapped her good. My mother wouldn't listen to my explanation either. But this chapter was cute and very realistic. (Too bad Pam wasn't old enough to call him Maxi-pad! )
Author's Response:
This was slightly based on when I got detention because some other kid scratched me. I got sent to the principals office, and was like, "see this mark! its from HER" and he was like, well, you need detention! WTF! i swear, adults sometimes don't give enough of a chance.
and yeah, i don't think maxi pad would mean much at that age. haha. clever though! maybe when she meets max again she can throw that one out there.

Nice story. Of course she hates her name as a kid, don't most of us? And, please, how many times does she have to say it, Roy? DCMP!
Nice job. Especially the end.
Author's Response:
I mianly hated my name because there were A THOUSAND of us. I swear, naming your child like the most popular name in the country will just come back to bite you.
Thanks for the review :)

Awwwww! So cute. Man she really has issues with Pammy, eh? I also like that you didn't title the last chapter although who else could it have possibly been about. Great job!
Author's Response: Thanks! Yeah, I don't think she likes Pammy at all. And, I didn't mean to not title the last chapter... it was an accident :). Haha. But yes, anyone who couldn't guess who it was about before hand... yeah, they need help. :)

That was really an interesting story. I like that you went through all these stages in Pam's life. One suggestion... I think I would have gone for a shorter sentence at the end, like Jim saying "Pamela, I thee wed" because I think you might have gotten more impact from a single sentence. Still, it was a fun read. :)
Author's Response:
Sorry, getting a ribbon excited me WAY more than it should.
I didn't ever think of doing that - only with one line... hmmm. I like the vows, but you are right with the impact.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm. Wedding fluff. Yay!
Author's Response: Yep. Wedding fluff! And I loved those vows when i saw them (yes, I googled Wedding vows), cause I just so thought that was so them!

Pam is a saint for putting up with Michael.
Author's Response: I know! I am rewatching Season one, and she really gets tortured by hiM!
Date: June 13, 2007 04:49 pm Title: Roy
Don't call her Pammy! Grrrr. Stupid Roy.
Author's Response:
Exactly. He could have gotten lucky if he didn't... of course, that would violate my own no smut rule, and really defeat the purpose of the story...
(haha, and sorry i didn't respond to this earlier with the other reviews... )
Date: June 13, 2007 04:48 pm Title: Becka
Ooooh. Junior high kids are the vilest creatures on earth. You capture that beautifully.
Author's Response: I know, those evil ones... *glares* I hated middle school. Its like, just the worst time in the world.
Date: June 13, 2007 04:46 pm Title: Max
Oh, we hate mean old Max. And those names sound oddly familiar...Hee (Great start, Em!)
Author's Response: I know, Max calls Pam stoopid he deserves to be pushed! (actually, haha, this was slightly based on a time in kindergarten, when i got punished when someone else scratched me. totally unfair. like 15 years later and i am still bitter about it)
Date: June 13, 2007 04:22 pm Title: Jim
Very, very sweet story. Great job!
Author's Response: Thanks! :) I haven't really written much fluff, but right now, its just so easy!
