I just can't say enough how much I love your writing. This whole chapter was great but I particularly loved two things. One, you description of Pam cooking, how it was artistic and led so logically to her future, design school, NY, etc... Two, your description on the porch being a little to 'freshman year' for Jim. I think I liked these so much because these are both thought processes I've had myself. Great job, can't wait for more.

THAT was so unbelievably hot. Possibly the hottest thing I've read here and they didn't even "do" anything. Just him following her outside and attacking her like that....that slow burn with him touching the hem of the hoodie when he was at the table.........OH MAN!!!! More please!!!

ughhh so good so good so goooood. I love how your characterization doesn't deviate from the shows. I can see Pam and Jim so vividly it kind of gives me a head rush. And your scenes are just so amazing. Where you take the reader with what comes next just flows so well. Not to mention how heart stopping-ly hot that little exchange with the sweater was. I Applaud.

What a lucky bastard I have felt like getting to read these recent chapters before anyone else. You're just in the zone right now it seems. You're weaving the epic drama of them coming together perfectly with the finely observed ordinary details of their lives, all the while sprinkling in humor and some new characters of your own. It's just so damn good.

Love this story. Love the whole inner monologue. Love how Pam is fitting in at their place and her interactions with Mark. Love the private Jim/Pam moments and the tension and how they're taking it slow because they know they have something special going on between them. Gold medal to you! Can't wait for more.

And the scene in the kitchen, the first time Pam feels the intensity of the relationship, that's just about the best written thing I've ever read online.

woah. this chapter was AMAZING. wow. i don't know what else to say. ok... i love the scene with Kevin, and Pam's determination to stay the person that she's become. I LOVE her relationship with Mark. Somehow, hadn't read this and just caught up - glad I did. I like that you create a sense of the story/relationship unfolding from chapter to chapter over a period of time - and also good characterization - even the smaller bits of Kevin, or fleshing out Mark, are believable. And in this last part, the moments where Pam feels like they're in their own private space, even in a room full of people, is very apt - they've always kind of had those between them, even before it was romantic/sexual like it is here. Jim's saying how serious he is on the porch was really touching too. And hot and...okay, looking forward to seeing what happens next.

I am loving how you are handling the interior monologue in this fic. Both of these characters so live inside their heads.
And again with the character development for Mark. Very nice. I also like the shock of Pam's seeing Kevin and her 'worlds colliding'. And I'm so glad Pam is clear that she's not rebounding.
And of course, I'm soo looking forward to the next chapter -- I hope you have a weekend of writing planned!

Oh my god. I sometimes forget that I am reading about Jim and Pam, because the way you describe and detail everything is so real. When Jim saw his sweatshirt on Pam, and the only-ness of those two at that exact moment in time...that was every moment I've ever had like that, ever, all at once. Its not cheesy, and its not over-the-top, and I definitely, definitely love this story.

Oh. My. God.
First, I was like, "Aw, they're getting so comfy together," and then I was all, "Daaaang, baby, that's hot," and THEN I seriously almost cried at the end of the chapter, because it was so totally sweet and beautiful, and even though I never, ever cry, and even though I tried telling myself that my eyes were just dry from the fan circulating the air around too vehemently, I was totally lying to myself: I really, sincerely almost cried. Which is quite a feat, since I'm actually a cyborg and don't have that feature. So, you know, excellent job, because: misty-eyed me is a rare me.
