OK that one seriously made me cry. (nevermind that I have been drinking and I'm PamMSing.)
I feel so bad for Pam she doesn't even know what she did. And Jim, poor poor Jim.
Ok I had this dream last night that you posted the last chapter of this and before Jim could propose Pam goes, "I'm Pregnant!" and he yelled "Dammit Pam! Will you marry me??" all angry and stuff...I really hope I wasn't fortelling the future.
can't wait for the next one!! :)
Author's Response: Nope, nothing but sunshine and fluff coming in Chapter 5 - thanks for reviewing!!

holidays are such a special time. i have a feeling i am like pam, i am a total kid from thanksgiving on. i love christmas.
*sigh* jim can't catch a break can he
Author's Response:
No, Jim's going to have to EARN this engagement..... :-)
Thanks for reading!!

This did seem like the perfect romantic setting, but Michael and Dwight ruin it.
Author's Response:
yeah, it could have been a hell of a moment if they hadn't been interupted..... :-)
Thanks for reviewing!

I love the fact that Jim bought the ring just 6 weeks after they started dating. Its so sweet and so Jim. But I have a feeling I will say that a lot about this story.
Oooh, my name is the same as Pam's sister... and in another fic, my name is the name of Pam's cousin.... I am liking this relationship to fictonal characters.
Aww, and Ben just ruined the moment by proposing to Emily. Grr. Already not liking Ben haha!
And I really want to go to that cabin, looks NICE
Author's Response:
haha - well I read somewhere that Jenna does have a sister named Emily, so I couldn't resist using it. :-)
I hope you enjoy there rest of the chapters; thanks for reading and reviewing!

Outstanding as usual!
Author's Response: Wow - thanks!!

Hah! The best laid plans of Jim Halpert continually go astray.
I'm pretty sure at this point that Jim is just going to throw the damn ring box at Pam and say, "Put it on, dammit!" I know, now you're going to be mad at me for ruining the surprise, but I couldn't stand having all these people in suspense. Throw, put it on, dammit. That's all anyone needs to know.
What a comedy, to have all three Christmas trees down. Question: was a cheese pita seen in the area?
Author's Response:
haha - OMG, you know me too well, Kev!! :-) I did actually tell a friend that after 4 misses he's just going to 'chuck the damn ring at her head'. Because let's face it, after all the things he's had to put up with, her saying NO is not even an option at this point.....
And no, not a cheese pita in sight, but I'd still be happy to blame Fire Guy. :-)

OMG, MOX! Jim's BIL to be is named BEN! ARE you kidding me!
Author's Response: hahaha - I could not resist. (Given it's my son's name, I am kinda partial to it, anyway!) And who knows - we may see more of Ben in other stories.... So glad you are back with us, LisaHoo!!

The Christmas trees had to be sacrified!!! NOO!!!!. Darn trees ruining Jim's proposal. I, like Pam, am slightly a Christmas freak. I love it when stories add little things like that I can connect to.
Author's Response: Yes, I am a christmas freak too - and I just know that Pam is. :-) Hopefully next Christmas they'll actually be engaged and pine trees won't have to burn in vain.... ;-) Thanks for reading!!

My jaw just dropped. I should've seen that coming, but I didn't and it was hilarious! I'm really loving these, Moxie! I can't wait to see how (and when) it finally works out.
Author's Response: Thanks, Azlin! I just hope the time he gets it right will be worth the hype! ;-)

Ha ha ha! It was all so sweet and fluffy right up to the end, and then it turned hysterical.
You've got such a handle on Pam's and Jim's voices, it always makes reading your stories such a pleasure. Although I have to say that I'm almost sad when beginning each chapter of this story, because I know it will not end in a proposal. Bring on that 5th chapter quick!
Author's Response:
thanks so much for the high praise - getting their voices just right means everything to me!!
I'm working on the 4th proposal attempt now, so hang in there !

"But all he could think about was the ring in his pocket, and how he couldn't imagine this as the type of proposal story he'd one day be telling his children and grandchildren." This was too cute. I love that Jim is thinking about their future children and grandchildren while the future mother and grandmother is trying to ravish him in the cornfield!
Author's Response: Well, there will always be more cornfields.... :-) Glad you like it so far, Kaystar!!

OUCH! Jim, you poor, poor bastard. This is just payback for his time wasted on the Pantsuit Queen, right? But you made me laugh despite his pain. Looking forward to the next chapter but especially to the happy happy ending you've most likely got up your sleeve!
Author's Response:
LOL - I hadn't really thought of it, but you must be right. This is Pam's guardian angel just getting her kicks into Jim for being so stupid. ;-)
and the happy ending? I have no idea yet what happens. ;-)
Date: June 22, 2007 06:22 am Title: Lighting of the Christmas Trees
HAHAHAHAHA!!!! oh this was so good! nothing at all is working for Jim! when he finally does get to propose it's going to be wonderful b/c he'll finally be able to laugh with Pam about how crazy it's been trying to ask her. I love how it's all sweet and romantic, then all of a sudden everything, literally, goes up in flames! oh it's too funny. Thanks for another great chapter, moxie!
Author's Response: Glad you liked it, rules! Hope the last two chapters live up to the first three!!

He should have followed his earlier impulse! Oh, poor Jim. Heee.
I love how simply grateful Pam is to be with him. So sweet.
Author's Response:
Yes, Jim has a history of not acting on his first impulses, which he really should learn to trust, don't you think?
And I think Pam would be grateful for their 'second chance' for quite a long time. :-)

Oh my God, poor Jim! He just can't even catch a break when he's got the girl, huh? The Christmas trees all burning down was both hilarious and sad.
I can't wait to see how he finally gets around to accomplishing this. :)
Author's Response: Thanks for the review - I hope I can deliver the happy ending Jim really deserves. :-)
Date: June 22, 2007 01:17 am Title: Lighting of the Christmas Trees
Poor Jim just keeps getting a raw deal in this story. I really like how you've written the development of their relationship.
Can't wait to see how Jim gets screwed in the next chapter!
Author's Response: Hehe - well, he only has to survive one more failed attempt. But what kind of toll does this kind of bad luck take?
Date: June 22, 2007 12:02 am Title: Lighting of the Christmas Trees
oh my God they just keep getting better. I can't wait until it's all said and done and Jim can tell Pam about all these foiled plans, because I think she'd appreciate them. Hehe.
awesome job
Author's Response: Thanks, PPC - I think she will too... (oops, was that a spoiler? You'll have to wait and see....) ;-)
Date: June 21, 2007 11:27 pm Title: Lighting of the Christmas Trees
wow. that was unusually... dark.. for a moxie fic, but i really loved reading it! haha.. all the christmas trees caught on fire. and 50 schrute bucks for making me all nostalgic about christmastime in wilkes-barre. especially the courthouse.. we should get andy's accapella group to sing there, great acoustics. ^_^
Author's Response: Wow - I am so surprised I passed the test with someone who's actually been to Wilkes Barre; I guess I just grew up in a similar enough town that I my imagination wasn't that off. And I couldn't help but show my dark side in this story. And there's still one more failed attempt to go.....

AHH! Are you kidding me? This guy cant catch a break! I cant wait until the final chapter!!!!!! Keep writing- you are my FAVORITE author on this site, just thought you should know...once
Author's Response: Awww...thanks so much for saying that! I'm so glad you enjoy my stories. I'm working on the 4th attempt now.... thanks for reading!
Date: June 21, 2007 09:57 pm Title: Lighting of the Christmas Trees
BAHHH HAHA HA HAHAA!! Figures that the trees would catch on fire. I mean, it's not funny, but come on.. it's kinda funny. ;) I do think Jim's karma is just playing tricks on him now.
Author's Response:
Hee - I found it pretty funny too. But I have a sick sense of humour. :-)
Thanks for the review, Jecks!!
Date: June 21, 2007 09:55 pm Title: Labor Day Weekend
I'm feeling so bad for Jim. I can't wait til we get to the one that FINALLY works out. :)
Author's Response: I know, you'd think I'd show more respect to someone I love so much!! But it is kinda funny, and fun to write. Thanks for reading and reviewing!
Date: June 21, 2007 09:42 pm Title: Lighting of the Christmas Trees
Jim certainly has a problem getting things right at Christmas, eh? Poor Jim. I'm such a nerd that Pam's simple "I love you" made me smile really big. This is a great, fun story. Despite Jim's obvious torture ;)
Author's Response: Well, I think Jim needs to focus on the fact that she does love him, so it doesn't mean squat that he can't seem to get the proposal out. But I doubt he'll let it go that easily. He's on a mission now. ;-)
Date: June 21, 2007 05:29 am Title: Autumn DM Employee Appreciation Night
I know I've been horrible at reviewing lately, and I promise I'll try harder...as long as you keep posting these awesome Happy!Pam/Jim fics...so far, it's a great way to pass the summer.
Author's Response: Awwww - thanks, Luna! I know how hard it gets to find time to review. I'm just glad you are reading and enjoying it! Working on the 4th proposal (attempt!) now....
Date: June 21, 2007 12:29 am Title: Labor Day Weekend
Oh man! Foiled again! And would you look at Pam getting all amorous in the cornfield. lol. Hmm...if she were to get pregnant out there they could call their kids children of the corn....I know - lamest joke ever.
Author's Response: LOL - that is almost too scary to consider. But funny! Thanks for reading, LoveFool!! I love all the fluff you write. :-)
Date: June 20, 2007 11:29 pm Title: Autumn DM Employee Appreciation Night
oh man.. that is the perfect tough situation! have sex with pam or propose to pam? haha. however, i do have to request, please don't let him propose to her in bed. there's just something so... anticlimactic about it. they can go at it after she says yes. or whatever. knowing you, he could be proposing to her in the checkout line at food lion and i'd still love it.
Author's Response:
I can assure you there will be no bed proposals. I agree with your reasoning completely. And I hadn't thought about the check-out line in Food Lion, but now that you mention it... ;-)
Thanks for the review, StarShine!!
